The good news, the Packers won vs Pittsburgh.
The bad news, the starting offense sucked. Damn. Oh well. Pleanty of preseason left to work out the kinks.

You mean Rodgers? He's in his third year of pro ball now.

Wow, you guys are predicting a rough season for the Packers this year? You should work for ESPN. That's some insightful shit I'm sure no one else can see.:p Brilliant analysis. :p And here I though we were going to the Superbowl.;)

caught a glimpse of the green bay game. i have no idea what is going out there, but there's a bunch of good players on the roster.

I'm not too concerned about panther cheerleaders nose lengths. But who was the dumbass that failed at filming the 'situation' ? You know, for 'evidence'. If they were really outraged they should have been all over that. Apparently though everyone in that room felt the carolina growl. Thus I wash my hands of such nonesense.

hmm what else about the nfl. priest holmes is hilarious. didn't watch all of the denver game, but it is preseason and i don't really care and am still afraid of them. kc is apparently starting someone at qb other than huard? is this right? whoever made that move is a dumbass and it moves the chefs out of contention imo.

in an earlier post i gave the pats a lot of accolades. I take all of that back. It has nothing to do with their preseason loss, which I didn't see for unfortunate geographical reasons. The pats will be lucky to finish third in the afc east this year. Forget the playoffs. Brady is going to get fucking killed, and maroney, who is the spine of the entire fucking team, is going to fade after seven games.

seymour doesn't want anything and the rest of the defense are a bunch of decaying fossils. they are so frail they should be called the glass men or the aged fragiles.

randy moss won't even make it to the regular season, he'll be released within two weeks and picked up by st louis or carolina.

stallworth will stall and poor caldwell will prolly be the number 1 receiver again (catching passes from cassel, who will have a good year) while welker recovers from a severe shoulder injury.

When were the Kansas City Chiefs ever in contention? They haven't been able to field a competent defense in basically forever.

I didn't used to dislike thee pats, but do now just because they've been too good for too long. I'm tired of it. They need to sink back to mediocrity so I can ignore them again.

As far as passionate, unreasoning hate, the Cowboys hold a special place for me. Screw those guys. I hate the cowboys more than any team in any sport. They could be playing an exhibition game against Al-Qaeda and i would still root against them. America's team, my ass. I think my favorite play I've ever seen in football was when Romo cost them that game. I was seriously giddy like a schoolgirl for about a week after that. Those bitches.

As someone raised a Niners fan, I'd just like to quote the above, so that it'll appear twice.

I think that if cocaine had never become popular in the U.S., the Cowboys wouldn't have any championships - because their 90s teams were fueled by coke, steroids, and hookers.

You can say the same for the Lawrence Taylor's Giants, John Madden's Raiders and pretty much every other pro football team - except the Cardinals.

A little cruel I feel ..... now most of their head coaches ended up taking drugs just to make the ... nightmare ... go ... away ;)

every year the chiefs show some winning signs. I mean they aren't one of the best teams, but they are certainly there.

Lord- I'm a pats fan. I wasn't really serious, sorry if I seemed more severe than intended. the point was, it will be good to see them brought down a few notches, at least in the media etc.

edit -
i don't think the pats use coke, steroids, or hookers. They use instill level 20+ fear spells upon their enemies, and their enemies don't know about saving throws. Then there's Vrabel's Stinking Cloud... but you'll all have to wait until October to see that gem. Rumor has it that in the off season the linebacking corps sacked a goblin mine and returned with all sorts of arcane artifacts and weapons.
