SYMP!
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Well, beating a dead horse is one thing. Eating it is another.

Best Finish Ever.

Not really, but it was a good comeback. Belichek was an idiot for going for it on 4th down, but whatever.
I'm happy cause the Pats lost, though of the 10 people I was watching with everyone else was rooting for the Pats.
So I took so much crap from them for over 2 hours and then when the Colts actually won, I couldn't make fun of them because
they threatened to murder me lol.

I love it. The fact that they lost the game because of their arrogance, which is why I hate the Pats in the first place.

Arrogance? Belicheck didn't trust his D to make the stop; that doesn't sound very arrogant to me.

It's not arrogance..........It's the "balls" to try.

But a bad call on Bill's part anyway you look at it.

Going for it on fourth down from your own 30 yard line is arrogance. It's saying "screw you guys, we're the patriots, and there's no way you can keep us from getting two yards, and we're willing to bet the game on it." Arrogance. It's being spun as lack of faith in his defense, but really it's just the inability to consider that maybe, just maybe, the sun doesn't shine out of Tom Brady's ass. It's not balls, it's bad football. We know he's not stupid, so what other explanation is there? Making a call that goes so much against good football strategy is arrogant.

The odds are pretty damn good that a guy who's won 3 super bowls and is going to the hall of fame can pick up 2 yards. In fact, he almost did.

Or would it be preferable to give a future hall of fame qb 2 minutes to cross 70 yards?

I think Belicheck weighed his options and decided the odds of Tom Brady gaining 2 yards were greater than the odds of his already tired defense stopping Peyton Manning on a 2 minute drill.

I don't buy it. Fourth-and-one is risky enough as it is; fourth-and-two is just silly. (Besides which, you've just barely scraped out 2 yards a play for the past 3 downs.) Just kick the friggin' ball; a lot can happen in 70 yards.
"Here is light. You will say that it is not a living entity, but you miss the point that it is more, not less. Without occupying space, it fills the universe. It nourishes everything, yet itself feeds upon destruction. We claim to control it, but does it not perhaps cultivate us as a source of food? May it not be that all wood grows so that it can be set ablaze, and that men and women are born to kindle fires?"

I would agree but I read that the Pats are 8 out of 10 when going for it on fourth down against the Colts. And that's the problem with BB, he thinks about this shit too much. He should have just kicked the ball and he probably would have saved the game. I am however still betting he will be the one who figures out how to beat the Saints.

Big Ben had a 'concussion related injury'. I assume he received a Concussion. If so, he is probably out for 2-3 weeks.

Which will crush their chances at a wild card run, I think.

GO RAVENS!

Anyone think there are other candidates for Rookie of the Year besides:
A) Percy Harvin
and
:( Matthew Stafford
