Aaron Gleeman sums my feelings up perfectly:

"Remember when the Vikings were really good? That was fun."
"Here is light. You will say that it is not a living entity, but you miss the point that it is more, not less. Without occupying space, it fills the universe. It nourishes everything, yet itself feeds upon destruction. We claim to control it, but does it not perhaps cultivate us as a source of food? May it not be that all wood grows so that it can be set ablaze, and that men and women are born to kindle fires?"

Redskins are getting the piss kicked out of them right now. I mean damn. Its embarrassing even watching it, and I'm far from a fan.

Dear oh dear, HD won't be happy...

Denver Philadelphia is proving a good game, another cack performance by Moreno though.

Oh, I knew this was going to happen. The Colts believe in resting. Other teams don't.

Some Colts fans are pissed because of the way it was handled, i.e. the illusion that the Colts were going to try to go 16-0. I knew they wouldn't. In 2005 they started 13-0 and played week 15 all out against San Diego and got beat. I firmly believe they would have rested week 16 even if they won that game.

I could give a lesser shit about going 16-0, seriously. On Colts message boards I've repeated that over and over again. All I want is a Super Bowl win.

Edit: You know that "some" I say above? Holy shit. 99% of Colts fans are IRATE. It's kind of sad to read, actually.

Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Man, it would have been fun to watch football yesterday. Unfortunately, the dish mover person who's supposed to fix my dish is about a week late. So, no friggin football!!!

And those people would be a lot more irate if Peyton would have got hurt. And they'll all say how they thought it was a great idea if they win the super bowl.
I've always been crazy but its kept me from going insane.

If I had:

1. A machine gun.
2. A list of Colts fans and their addresses
3. No repurcussions

There would be a slaughter in Indianapolis over the past two days. Everyone? Feel free to ridicule and mock the Colts fanbase at will. They are stupid, spoiled, and pathetic.

Just to announce to the world I am now a 49ers fan after receiving a 49ers sweater from my aunt and uncle... :D

Also, if should come to a Colts-Saints Superbowl who should I root for? For no reasons whatsoever I am thinking the Saints right now...

That's like cheering for Al Qaida over Mother Teresa.

HD....that's the most bizarre comparison I've ever seen.

I assume you mean the Saints are Mother Theresa, suffering and alleviating the suffering at the bottem of the league for decades and they will finally win their "Nobel Prize"?

Where the colts are Al Qaida, having snuck in a Super Bowl win one year but generally not heard from otherwise?

:D

The Colts are awesome. The only thing incendiary about them are the passing attack and the decision last week.

The Saints, on the otherhand, get ridiculous publicity for no better reason than living under sea-level in a frequently hurricaned area. But then again, I've made frequent statements in this thread that I hate every team that isn't the Colts.

That doesn't mean I'm biased though.

Well my Packers, according to a lot of the analysts on TV are one of the hot wildcard teams that looks really strong.

That makes me feel good, sure, but the last time we were analyzed as such, we lost to the Eagles (4th and 22, a moment which will always be infamous for Packer fans).

That being said, I think our team has really come on strong and is playing spectacularly. The defense is finally at full speed with the 3-4, and Rogers is getting the protection he needs to get the ball away. With our defense, and one of the scariest receiving corps we SHOULD go a long way. Especially if we get the chance to throttle the vikings. Just too bad that there wont (in all liklihood) be any games at Lambeau.

And the best news for me is, the games are being televised live on my normal cable since its the playoffs! No internet radio for this one. :nono:

I'd love the Packers to win. They're just more fun than other teams...
