I'd have guessed Lady Envy. oh and Kallor, great idea with the 1 line a day prologue, it'd definately keep my interest up until release :)

The last I remember correct me If im wrong.
But didnt it say something like Paran saying they will be heading to Aren to never see 7 cities again.
It didnt really give any specifics as to where exactly he plans on going.

He told Apsalar he was going to Quon Tali. I presume they will pass Aren on the way there. I got the impression that Paran had some mission there. Seven Cities as just a detour, or something...
I could be wrong ofcourse, I never admitted I am all knowing :)

I just got done reading it, Paran says Aren.

I remember because it struck me as odd. What business does he have there?

More importantly what will he and his army encounter on the way there?

BH p. 178 Paran to Apsalar : "I will clean up the mess as best I can before moving on to...."
"Quon Tali."

If he's going to Aren it's probably because thats where he can take a ship to Quon Tali?
and we've already been told that 7 cities is done with?

Interesting. i see what you mean but the power of the first throne is gone. I would have prefered him to go to shal morzzin tbh

Logros moved the throne to a continent south of 7 cities where it was found by Kellanved. that continent was Quon Tali... according to Onrack.

@ bridgeburner...an AWFUL lot of people die in this book. Even, well, some you really don't expect to...*weeps for the lost*

ps...am awaiting a reply from Bantam regarding the posting (in daily sentences) of Reaper's prologue, but those responsible are on holiday

Sweet!! People dying! I mean i love most of the characters, but having no fear of losing them 100% cheapens the book. In other series you have the hero cornered with a candle fighting and undead dragon and there is no thought at all about him dying... Now i can eagerly (fearfully) turn each page since at any point anyone could go...

P.S Can you define "AWFUL lot". You mean all the bad guys die? Or as in numbers like 2. Is 2 an AWFUL? Some you really dont expect.... interesting... was actually about to start a thread on that...speculating which characters are 'safe' from death.

Yes Kallor, how about we eat your BRAINZ one curvey ridge at a time, in exchange for the above mentioned sentences? Sounds like a fair exchange to me.

I have actually eaten brains by the way. Cow brains, mashed up, herbed, grilled and fed to me on a hamburger patty. One of my father's many attempts to broaden my um, dare I say it, by feeding me things I'd never eat if I knew what they were.
