WJ was Mason only during a reading. That doesn't make him the primary holder of the position in the House.

Apocalyptic and Salvation are two different cards, but other than that good job. I can't think of any off hand you may have missed, and it looks pretty complete to me.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Yup. I shouldn't have included him. My original intention was to list all of the holders, but instead just decided to name those at the end of this last book.

Seriously. But they're both in Unaligned.

I had assumed from the re-read that perhaps the Master was just going to move the card rather than make Felisin a new one. Your explanation does make more sense, I think.

He did say a new card when talking of Salvation. Apart from that, it looks good.

Death Slayer has as its image the exact same scene we've been shown every time the Crippled God has appeared, so I think it'd make sense to label him in that position.

Also, the Cripple in Chains is the artisan who lost the use of his legs in MoI, the one who crafted the original House of Chains cards.

A note of interest, not assignation: I find it interesting that Fiddler seems to keep dealing himself the Soldier of High House Life card. I remember it happening at least once before tBH.

Hi all!
I would have thought WJ to be the mason in HHD now that he's dead.

And if he's not, where is WJ's ghost then?
Reborn as a child somewhere?

Since there has been a lot of speculation as to WJ's whereabouts, I guess SE perhaps will let us know that or allow it to the fans to come up with our own answers!:Erm:

Hi,
Could WJ not be counted among the Bridgeburners in this respect as well?

oh...i think some1 has said that WJ is gone for good...dead, no return, no ascension (some interview with SE, was it?), so = no place in the deck

As I remember it, it was: no further part in the series (or rather not coming back). No word either way on the subject of his posible ascension.
But he was at the heart of the Bridgeburners and they ascended so reasonably he would ascend to, but then again that might just be my wishfull thiking as WJ was one of my favorite characters.

BUT: if he has ascended he would automatically have a further role in the series...i dont think any ascendend will be left outside the struggle (at the example of the crust brothers one might see that there is no real 'existing but no role in the story' once u have acuired a certain importance, and WJ has

(i liked him, too, but i dont think there is any hope)

WJ was interned in moonsspawn with the rest of the BB, however wasn't he put somewhere else and covered with wards that rake himself wove? Maybe these wards stopped whatever happened to the rest of the BB???

That way WJ could rest in peace

phart:
If memory serves, Rake wove all wards in Moon's Spawn around the fallen - so IMHO that would not negate the ascension, otherwise, how could the rest of the Bridgeburners ascend?

@whelp
i dont know if there is any ward around the other tombs, but i am sure that QB said to paran that the wards around WJ (and the 2 marines) were woven by rake alone, and while they could go near the others, they couldnt step on the podest with WJ...so this strongly hints that WJ got a special treatment by rake (WJ was rake's special friend after all)

Ok, I see you point. Long time since I read MoI, it seems...

I am going to be very unhappy if SE brings back a whole bunch of characters from death, but leaves out Whiskeyjack.
