I'd say bowling is by far the most boring to watch. Even with golf, there's like something different happening every shot. With bowling its the same thing over and over and over again. Golf is probably the most boring to play, though i never have. Mostly because you spend most of your time walking around. Plus i'd probably feel stupid hitting a ball and then walking after it... and then hitting it again. Playing cricket at the edge of the field must be pretty boring, too.

I went with bowling (I assume you mean lawn bowls), golf and baseball. All of which make my eyes bleed if I am so careless as to witness them even momentarily. I have had a go at all 3, and agreed with my sentiments as a spectator.
To those who voted for cricket, I suggest you look at Seth Efricas' totally arsey win over Australia yesterday in the 5th One-Dayer. Australia got 434, and were beaten. Whew! The spectators were in danger of being massacred by the number of sixes.

Cricket is slightly less exciting than watching the snow in my driveway melt.. What is it with you commonwealth people? You must have some kind of genetic defect or something.. Cricket is not exciting! It's dull!

Cricket is the most god awful boring sport in the world to watch.. and not that much better to play. I didn't consider baseball cos after all it's just that girlie game rounders anyway!

Listen, any sport I can't figure out the means of scoring = brain death, so cricket gets my vote.
I would have included Baseball, but at the scoring isn't based on the stats.
And where the hell is Netball on this list? Oh wait, that's not really a sport, is it...

'Tis a toughie. Bowling, golf, and billiards are boring to watch but can be fun to play. I like watching baseball at the ball park, but not on TV, for some reason. I would say most boring to watch is NASCAR racing - round and round the same track for 4 friggin hours...make it a figure 8 track, throw some obstacles in there, or something!
OK, I think I got it, but just in case, can you say the whole thing over again? I wasn't really listening.

Attaboy. You and me, we'll do a road trip, and catch games in Chicago, Cleveland, Detroit, Toronto, Boston, and New York. Save up though, cause I heard watered down stadium beer is expensive.
I don't even think car racing would be exciting if there were obstacles or guns on the cars or explosions and such. I'm just not interested in cars, period. Car chase scenes in movies are a good time to go to the bathroom, in my opinion. I've never seen a good one (and I've seen a lot of movies, including The French Connection and Bullitt).
Car racing sucks hard.

I voted basketball as its just never entertained me playing, possibly because I'm useless at it and not particularly tall. Baseball as its just dull imo, and bowling. Just pants, and one question where was curling in that list, it surely needs to be there, house cleaning in cold countries 
O and billiards is awful to watch but very hard and quite addictive to play.

height and basketball is utter bullcrap. ever heard of Muggsy Bogues?

Car racing is ok...but only when they crash.
I really hate tennis. It drives me nuts when wimbledon is on cos everyone seems to think its great and they have to go on and on and on about how well Tim Henman is doing (or rather not doing). Its just a ball going back and forward and back and forward and back and.....Zzzzzzzzzzzz

I was going to make a comment about how irritating I find 90% of NBA players, and then I realized suddenly that 90% probably works out to roughly the proportion of a particular demographic in the NBA. Then I thought better of it. I'm a fair guy. I dislike ALL NBA players, not just 90% of them.

Poker is not a sport. No matter how much the TV stations may advertise it as such, it is not a sport.
