so Moon's Spawn is under water now.
Coral is now Black Coral... and the Andii are presumably occupying it
so where does a big red dragon go?

I'm sure there are plenty of condor roosts that have now been vacated ;-)

perhaps back to SD, although i heard theres a lock on that particular door... otherwise i reckon she'll just stay with rake's andii in black coral...... in a reeeally big house with big chairs and big bed and... you get the picture ^_^

*grins*
I may have miss-represented this...
for some reason all the dragons returned to Starvald Demelain, except for Silannah, who has stayed hidden away for century upon century. So ok, Anomander probably has the other equipment to go with his two handed sword....^_^ but there must be a reason why she has remained hidden.

ah !

One might speculate that Silanah isn't _always_ a big red dragon - and therefore her ability to hide among a reclusive race is made easier.

hah! she is a full blooded Eleint, not a soletaken. A weak and feeble argument I grant you... but it must have something to do with it ^_^

one could counter that a full blooded Elient ought to have powers beyond those of a Soletoken ;-)

but thats the point... they probably do... so is that why they retreated from the malazan world and Silannah stayed hidden? ^_^

Maybe Silannah and Rake fell in love, which the full-blooded Eleints took umbrage at, and started a war between them and the Soletaken. The Soletaken won, driving all the Eleint into SD except Silannah, who stayed with her lover, Rake. Could be a possible reason for the Flight in the first place...
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

A few thoughts:

1. As Moby was a demon with a rodent soletaken form, who's to say a dragon cannot have a soletaken human/tiste/whatever form?

2. Deep affection for Rake notwithstanding, maybe there was a good reason for at least one eleint to stick around in the world and keep and eye on things.

- Abyss, not going to crack a joke about draconic sex toys.

I feel that pure eleints are just that pure dragons. They are just dragons. Maybe Sillanah just stayed because she wanted to. We dont actually know why they flew into SD. Maybe there was a difference of opinion ^_^

No, there's no relation - Silannah is a pure dragon, while Spite is a Soletaken. Two different types of thingy.

Draconus and Sheltatha Lore are the parents of Sister Spite and Lady Envy.

So there is no relationship, unless Silannah is related to either one of the parents. but that seems pretty unlikely... ;)

Wht unlikely? Surely soletaken can have kids with animals of similar species. Sheltatha is the one that was holding Silchus right?

BTW Silanah may actually have a cosy place to stay in the Pannion seers home. You know that place where "mother" used to stay...

Hang on if Rake and silanah are an item what about Envy? I'm seeing the makings of the mother, daughter and step mother of all Catfights. All thats necessary is a well placed mud bath and some rainy wheather...

As much as I would like to see her ladyship in a mud fight I don’t think it’s her style. I would think more in the line of dyeing half of Silanah’s scales turquoise or something. But we can always hope ;-)
