We finished up last night. One of few shows recently where I've been genuinely sad to get to the end. What a superb series!

Ep 11. "The other way.". I may have passed out from laughing.
Someone tell me they did that in the streaming show?

I would imagine they did. I can VERY much see Sam Reigel suggesting this out loud as a route "into" the dragon, and Matt laughing his ass off and saying "roll for initiative and stealth"....

Oh, that did indeed happen including fisting the wound... would you expect anything else from Sam?

...

dead.
i have laughed myself to death and am dead now.
so very dead.

I just absolutely love Matt's face when he is trying to figure out what to do ha!

"The hand... only makes it as far as the second knuckle."
"Oh... well I'm embarrassed."
*half the players fall off their chairs*

Ep 12 was a MASTERCLASS in how to write an episode with buildup to EARNED epic moments. This show is not stranger to them already, but ep 12 was something special.

I haven't watched any of the earlier campaigns, but the BE campaign is entertaining at times. Though it is definitely a campaign made to be watched, not played.

I am so excited for the new season, currently going through a rewatch myself. This show is so damn good!!

You see Ram Riegel had tonsil cancer (voices Scanlan). On the mend but had to retrain his voice. It didn't delay this season but had impact on future work (Mighty Nein series).

Just finished season 3. Hmmm.
Still very good, but a lot of the emotional stuff could have been condensed and nothing would have been lost.

Nothing beats Scanlan's Hand surprising the bejeezus out of Umbrasyl though from last season. :D

Two eps into S3. Hell of an opening to ep1, the dragons are appropriately hard to beat. Very enjoying the enemy in ep 2, threatening and effective and ambiguous.

Vex/Percy and Vax/Kayleth really need to get a room(s) and get it out of their systems already.

....but not Pike/ Scanlan, that's just wrong on every level.

Season 3 was awesome...

I was a bit disappointed they missed out a massive story beat from the campaign though... for those in the know...

Watched most of season 3 (of Vox Machina) yesterday... decided to stop during episode 8 because I was running out of paper towels and toilet paper (I don't bother buying tissues). They really weren't kidding about this season being more focused on grief and trauma. And losing that much fluid (and mucus) on the fifth day of a fast seemed potentially a bit unwise...

It's good though, and I'll get back to it eventually, once my Audible Plus subscription ends and I start watching tv shows regularly again (which is to say: once a week...).

Eps3 and 4 done. One room gotten, at least. The Hell thing was a bit overdone but the demon v dragon was GLORIOUS, as was the follow up.
