My join date is Jan 2003, but I'm pretty sure it was 2002, just before MOI came out in Australia.
Good grief. I was sure Simmo and Maccy were on here before me, I think your join dates must be wrong as well.
And does this now have the record for the fastest thread derail, even though it's purpose was fulfilled early?

I joined Feb 04 and I remember tiste and macros joining so I think their dates are right!
Nearly everyone from before 03 had their join dates reset in one of the forums great resets.

I first read GOTM in summer 2004 and I started on the forum a bit later that year so I think that's right.

Have you never been around when Mal randomly stumbles in and is an ass to pretty much everyone, then it gets deleted? The last time was a doozy.

Yes, I recall some. But being in my time zone I tend to miss them so the only evidence remaining is like what you wrote.
It's quite the tease.

Can’t I just wake up and realise we are still at Hetan & Mal’s BBQ with a hangover from hell caused by Morgoth’s akevitt and there is this dude in a cow suit or maybe it is just the crucible of pressure and need. And Illy ate all the chicken. Again.

Ha, we were discussing the cow suit on Saturday night over some beers. No Akevitt was permitted though
