@werewolf..but it will...as i said earlier, each episode will be available in a variety of formats...if we don't have one that you can view, we'll make one...if your internet connection doesn't like it, then we'll talk...due to the way that we're set up, you would lose your $20 (but still get your dog tags, and chance to win the various intro prizes) but not your quarterly fee...fair enough?

@tiste...you'll be happy to know we've instituted a special if-you're-from-york pricing scheme...no cash, just your soul...

what do you want his soul for? paying the devil for cheep demon labor? food for your actors? silly experiments in laboratory far out in Nowhere, a land plagued with timely lightning and thunder?
a serious question, you said something about a possible dvd(I think) will subscribers get one for free once the series is done or maybe buy it with a discount? if it's as good as I think it'll be I'll want to watch it on a nice big tv with surround

Ka-Ching! Unfortunately my family has moved from York now, so I will have to pay like everyone else.

I don't mean to plague the board with endless questions addressed to Patch
but will I be able to join the series part way through, and still get the previous episodes?

it's what i'm here for...yes, absolutely...every previous episode will be available to you...
@kimpo...yes, compilations will be issued (though at what rate is to be determined)...and of course they'll be cheaper for subscribers...

Hmmm ... I'll have to subscribe and then go over to my friends' house to watch it. No internet connection for this little shadow duck ...
Most of my friends are rabid Firefly fans, so I guess it wouldn't take much for me to get them hooked on Dark. If I can get some sort of ... sweetener. Patch?
Cheers,

Seeing that I'm superior to the lot of you due to being an American, I deserve and fully expect to receive my subscription for free. After all.... I'm American and thus am entitled to ... free stuff..
so anyways.. where and when do we pony up the cash? :eek3:

well...december 1 is fast approaching...good news or bad news first? we are slightly delayed...one reason is personal, the other simply a mistake in web planning on my part...but, all is not lost...the site is being tested at the moment and should be up in the next day or so...also, there will be a bunch of clips coming online very shortly...rehearsals, production meetings, etc as well as a bunch of goodies...be patient, it will be worth the wait...and my apologies...

Me as well
and Patch, you shouldn't apologize, we're used to waiting
Hope the personal stuff works out fine, you're our only hope of seeing Erikson stuff on a screen, so...
Take your time!
(we wouldn't want you going down now would we?)
seriously, no!

y'know, i figure i owe you folks somewhat of an explanation...later, maybe...
...we are delayed, as i said in an earlier post...these delays, it seems are ordained...as each, though difficult to accept at their onset, has contributed to the show becoming better...the primary delay i must take responsibility for as i seriously underestimated the web requirements...in hindsight i also should have developed the web concept in greater detail before i handed it off, but live and learn...we also appear to have our very own 'ghost in the machine' as certain database settings will not stay set...every time we turn them on, something turns them off again...even our hosting service is bewhildered...
...so, then...to make it up to you, when we come online you will get a crewman's view of the production...you'll have a say in the last few actor auditions...watch the rousing arguments in production meetings...follow the set construction...download unique ringtones, screensavers & backgrounds...in fact, should there be something you think we should offer that we don't, well, we'll listen...
...what else can i say except that the delays will result in a (much) better show...
...and, come to think of it, i'll post the 'explanation' on the dark forums...
