Consider me passed now too
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

I don’t mind that, I expected you to go there (I only went there to win the combat against Tapper). But do you care to share your plans for the rest of the round?

Make sure I have 5 ships at the edge of the board.
I'm mostly reacting to everyone else I have a lot of options. Some of those involve taking your ships some don't.

No, me. But I’m waiting for the resolution of the beta wormhole space battle.

Yes forgive me, I've just gotten home from 2 weeks visiting the family up North. Gonna take the rest of the day off, will get to resolution tomorrow!
Thanks everyone for your patience with my slow modding the last couple of weeks!

Visiting Northern Ontario does tend to put people into a near-comatose state of timeless relaxation, it's true.

Speaking of holidays, this is still a little bit in the future, but I'm going away for two weeks in ten days' time, so my posting may be more sporadic then.

Hey sorry for the extra day of nothingness before resolution, yesterday was kind of a write-off for me. I'm working on resolution now!

Hello IH, I would like a clarification chatty chat if that's alright.
To start off with: I have no interest in Mecatol Rex, and never have, except for a brief period before anyone actually took it.
But I think that you think (not unreasonably) that I do, and that you may be thinking of curtailing any southern expansion by supernova-ing Lodor, which would make going south for me much much harder (and more importantly from my own point of view, Lodor is a great strategic point all on its own). I would really like you not to do that, but realise there's actually not a whole lot I can do to stop you.
The only option then left to me is just to go ahead and move everything south now before Lodor is blown up. You probably don't want that, and neither do I have any strong inclination to go down there en masse, but I see it as preferable to move them down there in case I need them down there in the future, than to be indefinitely stuck up north.
Or you could convince me that, actually, you have no interest in blowing up Lodor, and that we should continue a live-and-let-live policy. Basically, I want to keep Lodor, and you want me to stay up north, and I think those two things can go hand-in-hand.

If I wanted to blow up Lodor, I would have researched gravity drive a few turns ago, and lodor would already be gone. I did think about it as you have built up a very large concentration of force there which is potentially in range of rex and my homeworld and look set to be plopping down two warsuns, but I also think the threat of you going through the various wormholes is good for the board.
At the moment I'm happy with the implied threat of a supernova on Lodor, but would love to come to a firmer agreement where you don't go south and I don't supernova you.
My current cagey moves are based around the fact that wherever I move you could jump on the resulting fleet and eat my warsuns, which I don't want to happen.

I'd love to come to a firmer agreement as well. I have no incentive to go south so long as I can achieve objectives while staying up here/going elsewhere. I can disperse the forces on Lodor around my other systems if that would make things more comfortable (and I think Tatts would be grateful as well - that build up of forces was originally because of fears he would take Lodor, not as a prelude to invasion elsewhere).

Well that would help! I'm not sure what firmer agreement we could come to with sftt and ceasefires out of play

Yeah, I'm basically out of all PNs at this stage. Alright, I'll downsize Lodor in my last few actions. In return, I'd like you not to blow me up

Last week of july/first week of august the wife and I are moving countries with a 2 year old and a cat. Exploring the city will be mixed with all the delights of paperwork, slow internet, DIY and unpacking so I will hardly be around. Things look better in the week of the 9th of august.

Yeah, it's summer time, I think the general rule at this point is everyone's going to be doing things slowly / at their own pace, so I'm not too worried about it! Thanks for the heads up though!
