For me, the main reason was a stall in addition to flipping the nexus to Alpha and Beta and opening up the board. I could possibly getting a trade out of it. Pretty good for one action. You though... you've claimed the nexus, with some justification thanks to the position of the wormhole - and now you just let it go? Where are you going instead?

Just letting it go is a bit strong. I’m not sure what you expect my Carrier to do against a War Sun or a fleet of dreads. And why do I have to be going anywhere? I’m perfectly capable of getting POs where I am, and as you can see I’m not starved for captures either.

FYI I have a deal from when I refreshed Tapper to use his War Funding once this round, but I think the timing will work out fine for you to also buy and use it. I should only need it during Twelve's upcoming turn when I presume he'll try to retaliate against me, but even if Twelve doesn't attack back I can pass it back to Tapper on his turn.
