Kalam is not an ascendent and this to the fact that only the DEAD BB's ascended. I think it was clearly stated as a fact at the end of HOC.
The otataral argument doesn't go here because Gruntle is not a mage and so doesn't use magic. The otataral would have nothing to nulify.

Have to say that I agree with IB, I was under the impression that ottateral disrupted warrens so how could that take away the blessings Trake has given Gruntle. There not so much magic as an improvement.

The only help Trake has given Gruntle seems to be his inproved fighting ablity and his inproved senses (Gruntle = Wolverine).

1.fear No real challenge fear by a landslide
2.stormy near ascended massive sword massive stregnth close though
3.Kallor very underated tempers good but dead
4.Rhulad but its close lorn is underated Blues is one of the best so its not a good measure of her skill loosing to him .
5.Kalam best fight of the round just think Kalam would find a way to win
6. Brys no doubt ver bad draw for Trotts this round would still die smiling.
7. Senu love moroch it would be a good fight
8. Whiskeyjack no contest wolf or man woud be easily dispatched.
