We bought a Bosch 500 series dishwasher about 4 months ago to replace the old Kenmore that leaked all over the kitchen half the time we used it. Really, really big upgrade, all the racks are so useful and it's nice to have it work smoothly every time instead of mopping/toweling the floor.

We tried to pressure wash a bunch of moss from the footpath in front of our house. the footpath became nicely clean, while at the same time the wall of the house turned from white to a horrible unremovable explosion of dirt and green. I'm sticking to slower, more conservative methods going forward.

Or you could, you know, just aim in the other direction.

You're a dude, you should have learned this at an early age. :p

But you can pressure wash the house too? Just use a less intense setting.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

Try pressure washing the inside of a dirty wheelie bin. Go on, it works really well...
So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

Shows how this forum has changed in that there used to be a hawt girl thread that was very popular and now we're all excited over vacuums and power washers. For the better imo

Aye, I miss them titties. A truly enlightened forum would have created a Hawt Boys thread in the name of equality instead. Smh.

We're trying to revive a pressure washer my father bought 15 years ago so that my wife can do the deck. She really, really likes the cleaning via water-blasting approach and has watched many, many videos on it. Got some starter fluid and will attempt this Saturday afternoon.

Make sure she wears good rubber boots. And avoid pointing the stream close to the feet.

In my lifeguarding days I did several years of pre-season maintenance, so we used pressure washers a lot.

They're fun, and there's a certain Zen to seeing deep-seated grime just peel off with this diesel-powered magic eraser wand, leaving the surface all colourful and spotless; but it's not a toy, and the stream can cut you in seconds.

I believe Terez tried to counteract the Hawt Girls thread by posting DragonBallZ porn.

I'm kitting her up in safety glasses, big rain boots (almost up to knee), keeping the dogs away, and having her start on the lawn first before moving to the deck. She's the first one to admit that she's clumsier than the average person, but I believe in her being able to do this with the gear, calm advice, and a slow ramp up to full autonomy.

She's a wizard in the kitchen, yet new physical things or skills don't come easy to her. Just needs time, repetition, and she's already got the delight in doing the thing part down.

I spent a week stripping my parents' house of paint before painting it.

I'm seeing a sort of Amph-Miyagi thing going on here - Jet on, jet off.
Notice that's JET, not GET. You pervs. :p

We did have a hawt dudes thread for a while at the end of those halcyon days but strangely enough it didn't get much traffic.

She's preparing by watching power washing videos with child like delight. I'm glad we're doing this because it's basically the highlight of her lockdown.

Air fryers are game changers. Got one for Christmas and we use it literally every day.

The wife made chicken wings and homemade fries tonight and they wer fanfuckingtastic.
I've always been crazy but its kept me from going insane.

My waffle maker also makes perfect pancakes.
Allegedly it fries bacon too. If it can pull off perfect crispy bacon I may buy another one so it has company. I hear they do better when they aren't alone all day.

I've used an air fryer for chips (fries to the yanks) it nothing else.

Do they crisp stuff up well like a proper deep fat fryer?
