Honestly, blame JA. His push for Venesara rubbed me the wrong way, so I went back and looked for an alternative low poster.

When I saw that train pick up momentum and then stall, I basically lurked cuz I wanted to see how people would justify their votes either way.

Brujah and JA both acted very suspiciously on that lynch. I still can't believe no one has gone back to actually look at your train, it seems very obvious to me that Osseric is scum, but no one's even questioned his vote yet.

Kalse's scum CF reminded me of a post I vaguely recalled popping on my radar. They were claiming some people as VPI and I was wondering why would you VPI multiple people so early in a very large game, but I didn't really put much thought into it because I was focused on chasing Ruse and Prazec. Went looking for that post and here it is. Early on D3, right after scum lynch on Thyr was confirmed:

At this point, Kalse was leading the thread with very little scrutiny and they listed three players as strong VPIs: Jalan, Barghast, Gait.
That was a very far reaching assumption, so my take on it is that Kalse was using their good standing in the thread to consolidate trust with 2 innos and protect 1 partner. With Jalan dead and confirmed RI, that leaves 1 scum to be found between Barghast and Gait.

Between these two, I'm definitely leaning Gait. I don't have time at the moment to dig up more posts, but on D2 I was pressing Gait about their derailment theory. I made it clear that I don't care as much about their thoughts on Thyr as I do about why, if they believed there was a derailed train, they never looked into the three people who derailed it. These people were Skintick, Rikkter, and... Kalse. Gait never addressed that point.

So in the light of Kalse's CF, I'm gonna:

Vote Gait.

I can't exactly blame khell for looking for scum in the early votes (I myself thought that Bargy was acting scum there)

But at the same time, khell is too caught up in his own finder-hype. He needs to take a step back and re-read the whole thread, including Day 1.

JA started the game by needling Gait about the pun on Okral as "signalling" and then tried to pin "over-defenciveness" on him. It was my first red flag, and the case on Venesara, was number 2.

It's that kind of willingness to push highly contrived accusations that usually spooks me about JA when he's scum.

But khell's gotta khell. We now have to have the town implode to give the power-lurkers a fighting chance.

Ive been threatening on thread to actually go and make cases on kalse, gait, Aranathas, Tennes based on day 2.
Yet haven't been able to...luckily someone took out the need to make a kalse case. (thanks Bargy, I think.)

But I think it might even be MORE illuminating now given the Kalse CF. So it might not be a bad thing that I couldn't go back and look properly just yet.

This might be a short game after all. (don't jinx it DKT, *knocks on wood*)


Also I had been thinking that there is a finder/Vig pair that might even have off thread comms in this game.
The story leading up to the Vig on Kalse kinda confirms there is two "detectives" looking for the killers.

Will need to be carful about not outing that or them if my guess is correct.
