This is more like it. It's a start of a negotiation between two civilised races. You already have access to a wormhole, and reaching through Alpha wormhole would be too spacy. Ie too many moves. Seem as we are both behind on VP's and near enough everyone else is off the mark what would you say to a straight SFTT and Ceasefire swap. Plus we become trade partners as well seeming as we both have 3 commodities. I plan on moving through the Alpha wormhole if I am to move to score the 6 planet objective. That won't be this round though.

No, that's an awful deal for me.

Attacking you will get me 1 VP from the planets objective and more resources. Why should I decline that for the same amount of VP+resources but also giving up PNs and severely limiting my future opportunities?

Attacking almost anyone else will net you similar results. There's an unclaimed planet north of Nevant. You have loads of options instead of coming towards me. What do you get from leaving other races unhindered? So a VP now, and friendly relations with me or war for the rest of the game which would not benefit either of us. Maybe you can lay down a better offer. I'll travel home from work fuming

Yes, I could go fight IH or Morgoth instead of you. It'd be inconvenient, more difficult, and yield me fewer resources, but I could. Why should I? Just because you asked nicely? I already suggested a way for that to happen. Now you again say I should "lay down an offer". Fine, I guess if I have to "lay down" yet another offer we'll just upgrade the previous one to: Swap Ceasefires + your SFFT + morgoth's racial PN + your trade agreement.

Accept that offer and I'll give up on Tau Bootis and send my ships elsewhere all game.

@IH: How's the status phase looking for you then? Have you thought about the 3-planet-for-minister-of-law offer? It also means that, presumably, you get to keep Twelve's votes for another agenda. If you did agree, I would like you to place some votes for me for the second agenda though, just to hopefully avoid shenanigans.

It'll be good to see you move all those ships 2 spaces on your first turn and it'll be good to see what ACs you have to counter mine. All I know now is you cannot be trusted. I'll plan accordingly. I've tried the carrot.
