It's funny how everyone gets all bent out of shape when THEIR games are on the line... Didn't seem like anyone really gave much of a shit when it was mine.

So what, I'm supposed to just sit here and let you guys play because I have next to nothing left in the game? I'm supposed to just stay in my corner and stop playing the game I'm still a part of? I'd say maybe yall should have a look at yourselves before you start talking about how it would be an asshole move for me to use my resources and TGs however I deem fit.

You misplayed and your game got fucked. It happens. Then there was a missed error that made it worse. That happens, too.

Tatts also misplayed and his game got fucked, but you don't see him trying to feed the leading player just for the sake of ending the game sooner. Realistically, Nom, Twelve, and I don't have a shot at winning this anymore, either, so should we just give all our TG and PNs to IH, too? Should I just vacate all my planets and let him invade for the sake of finishing sooner?

If you really want out, that's fine, just tell Khell and we'll treat Silvano as being a neutral planet and Muaat as eliminated.

So because you guys are not choosing to play kingmaker means that I should just sit quietly in my corner?

The moment Gnaw took Muaat I stated very clearly on thread that playing kingmaker is what I would be doing for the rest of the game, particularly if it stops Gnaw from winning.

I literally can do almost nothing more this game for myself, why shouldn't I use what power I have to sway the win besides the fact that it means that a few people who might win if I don't get involved don't get to win?

I have no issues with this. It's how my brothers and I play all the time so is expected.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

Actually mathematical speaking I can score 6 points in a round so technically I could still win but yeah I'm probably done.

I'm not married to the idea of IH winning, I'm just willing to help whoever I can to win the game as fast as we can. IH is the closest to that win, but if you have a way to win the game this round that things like my SftT and 12TGs could help, speak up.

I'm not mad.

I WAS mad about the fuck up that would likely have seriously impacted the position Gnaw is currently in, and could have mildly impacted just how fucked I currently am. I made that very clear on thread. I then got over it. I even tried to not take the 10TGs that Khell gave me, but he gave them to me anyway.

I am kind of upset that people are trying to tell me not to play the game anymore cause my game's been fucked and me using my TGs and PNs to influence who might win may impact THEIR chances to win. As far as I'm concerned, that's the point of this game. Make alliances, then sometimes break those alliances, and then deal with the consequences when you break those alliances. Gnaw broke our alliance, and not only did that, but bent my game over a barrel and fucked it just for the hell of it. If I can prevent him from winning, it's perfectly acceptable comeuppance as far as I'm concerned, even if that means setting IH up for the win.

I'm sitting here with nothing left to do and 12TGs to my name, so I figure the only thing I can really do with that is to use it to influence who the win goes to. I think it's perfectly reasonable and it's certainly well within the rules.

It should also be noted that aside from the annoying Mentax, IH has been more or less peaceable and helpful to me throughout the game. It's not like I'm offering to give the win to someone who has fucked me over at every opportunity, I'm offering it to someone who has been more or less helpful to me throughout the game. Tapper and Morgoth have both been aggressive towards me. You all know how I feel about Gnaw's game. IH has not been aggressive towards me in any way, and has in fact been helpful on more than one occasion, despite the fact that I kicked him out of Quann when he invaded it in the early game I might add.

What a shocking breach of trust!

I do wonder at everyone giving tapper such a hard time about trading with me, and not twelve for making deals with morgoth when morgoth is clearly in the better point scoring position. Anyone trying to win should be trying to stop me AND Morgoth. It's annoying but part of the metagame of discouraging letting someone get a clear advantage over there neighbour. Because usually near eliminations happen when someone is left alone to attack someone, and why I have helped tatts, nom and blend when they were in poor positions.

King making is clearly within the game parameters, getting a win partly relies on not pissing someone off enough that they sacrifice stuff to let someone else win. Twelve did the same last game for Morgoth.

That said blend mathematically I could win this turn with your sftt, and a kind SO draw but quite unlikely. TG funding to stop morgoth taking Saudor would not be turned down.

Morgoth can probably win with some extra TG as with imperial and 11 planets he would have 5 VP and would only need to score 1 SO.

I'm willing to hear counter offers from gnaw, Tapper and you to try and prevent Morgoth from going up 3 or more points this round. Morgoth has a lot of actions this round and his fleet is formidable. I can likely take Rex by force but as he mentioned he can wreck my fleet and his counter attack with even just his dread and a few fighters would force me off Rex.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

And let's not forget tapper and gnaw who are most likely going to get imperial/leadership and grab a win next round. I gambled on a 2 VP objective that I could score in order to win this round. That has now failed, whilst I can still potentially win next round there are much more likely potential victors out there.

You take Rex and I can guarantee he won't counterattack.

Edit: no I can’t. He follows you directly. Dammit

If gnaw and tapper are in I'm willing to contribute something even if it is just taxation immunity. What do you want?

Yeah, but I don't border him. I had already considered it, you seemed about the only one who could potentially win this round if I helped. Given it would be dependent on a good Imperial draw I think I'll stick with my original deal with Nom, though.

I wouldn't say no to some TGs for being a good neighbor :)

And if you wait until I draw my SO I can let you know if it is feasible!

Gnaw your guarantees aren't worth much to me. If between you, IH and Tapper all together can combine to pay me 6 Net tgs and you can prevent a Counter Attack I'll attack Rex on my next action.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

I can’t guarantee it. He follows right after you.

If it's the action card that locks down a system then couldn't you just play that as your next turn? Or were you going to attack him?

Besides, let’s wait and see how many of 5 PDSII shots he can absorb. Especially if Tapper and IH activate graviton. Decent chance his flagship is toast.
