I can't see a scenario where d'rek doesn't comfortably wipe out whatever I throw at bereg even without being able to build.

Well, Nom, you've finally amassed a big enough fleet that I'm going to have to move stuff outta your way so that you can't wipe out the better part of MY fleet! Shame that I'll have wasted a use of Construction to build those PDS - I hadn't taken into account that you might build your flagship when I was calculating what I had to do to keep you hemmed in!
Uhhhh
You might have just lost your opportunity at taking a shot at his planets while he was busy gardening
I'm having a hard time believing this though, after all the time, all the amazing things we had planned??
The build capacity of nom and that fleet is the truly scary thing. I think we are suddenly going to see a whole lot of infantry appearing!

How does noms flagship work as it doesn't say production 5? Does it build before movement, after movement or during the production phase?

Right after activation, before movement. So it doesn't let you move+build like the Letani Warriors do, but it gives you a lot more build capacity when building in a system where the flagship is already present, and for those sorts of purposes it's still faster and more manageable than using the construction secondary to put a space dock on a planet you've conquered.

His current fleet against what I have on M/Z, including any action cards that I might or might not have in my hand, gives him an 81% chance of winning. I can't afford to lose my War Sun, so I'll definitely be moving that out of there along with some fighters and/or infantry. I'll leave the Dreads behind though, can't let Nom just take M/Z without a bit of a fight.
Don't worry though, it shouldn't affect our deal much or at all.

I'm just going to have to come to terms with the fact that self-vote suiciding will forever be referred to as "pulling a JPK" now, aren't I? ~ JPK

And just cause I can't keep him hemmed in anymore, doesn't mean I can't still put lots of pressure on him in other ways.

@Tapper, think you missed it when I posted earlier, are you interested in swapping 2:2 commodities?

Morgoth, can you hold off another turn before taking Rex?
