Well, you need 3 infantry to absolutely guarantee surviving Space Cannon Defense. So that means 1 cruiser + 1 carrier + 1 fighter + 3 infantry? Meaning if you take 2 GLS hits in the Offense phase the whole fleet dies. I think you're better off paying the 2 TG toll, though I'm obviously pretty biased.

Hypothetical question D'rek, our deal is I'm immune from your space cannon until you play my ceasefire. So if I took rex would you play me ceasefire or not? And would you then shoot me or not?

We agreed to use each others' PDSs to protect each other, a mutual defense pact of sorts, and likewise to not fire upon each other. I wouldn't presume that that extends all the way to holding fire if one of us directly attacks the other, though.

D'rek I'm willing to pay the 1 tg fee to stand down your pds for activating Ensapta but I'll need a free refresh when you use trade to actually have trade goods to pay you. Currently I'm expecting a free refresh since I held up my end of our agreement as you were able to exhaust Rex for it's influence but with your latest move I'm just double checking if you are still going to honor it?

Yes. I'm not changing anything from the original tolls. Pay me 1 TG and I'll withhold space cannon offense on Esapta. Pay 2 TG to withhold space cannon offense on MR. If you activate Ensapta I will attempt to retreat my carrier (but not my infantry) to MR.

No my original plan factored in the pds fire so I was expecting to lose a cruiser so needed both to fight. When I realized paying the toll fixed a lot of logistical issues I didn't go back and factor that I didn't need both anymore to deal with the carrier.
