So you don't mind paying Gnaw to take MR but you do mind me? Just for clarification. I know he asked first but you could have accommodated both requests. Other than Daemon you do have 4 resources for technology secondary.

1. I never asked why Gnaw needed the TG, but I deduced.
2. I agreed to the trade with him primarily because I wanted Politics and trading with him would give me that.
3. I just thought you needed yours to have 6 resources for primary of technology, which is why I was trying to find ways to accomodate both of you because it plain sucks if a player can't get full benefit out of their Primary.

As for spending resources with Daemon exhausted... if I spend 4 TG on you then use Arretze, Hercant and Arinaam for 4 resources, I'd lose 3 Influence to be used on Leadership, aka lending TG to you would lose me a CT.
As a CT costs 3 Influence and 1 TG is 1 Influence, that's a loss of 3 TG on the trade. No thanks.

Yes, rule 60.5 - maximum of one promissory note from your hand can be traded per trade.

When we did the first game I had told everyone we'd just be using simplified trading rules of you can trade any amount of anything so long as it's your turn, just for the sake of not overcomplicating things when everyone was new to the game, so that might be where the confusion/habit comes from. But yes, in the formal rules there's limitations to transactions and max of once per turn (in case Mentak pillaging wasn't already strong enough ).

Khell can attest this was already the plan before we did all the Tar'mann negotiations, but I won't lie having your ceasefire made it a lot less stressful.

Speaking of pillaging... You didn't play my promise of protection, and by the order of your post had 3TG when recieving my ceasefire...

The mentak leadership once again apologises for the conduct of one of our crews when delivering our intent of non-hostility to the jol nar, due to an unfortunate misunderstanding they left with the jol nar negotiators ship thinking it was a gift. This ship was then apparently lost on a joy ride near mecatol rex. The mentak once again urge the jol nar to make efforts to communicate there status.
