Ugh, doesn't it just cancel the effect? I mean, that AC is now gone from her hand, so she played it, so it was an action, it just didn't have the desired effect?

It should but I had this same issue come up in game one. It does require D'rek to post another action.

I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

It seems odd to me that you get another go if a component action AC is cancelled, but if you use it as part of a tactical action (say, Flank Speed), it is not, even if it means you can no longer do that action (e.g. reach a certain system) and you lose your CT. One seems way more punishing than the other. Perhaps someone knows the answer to why this is?
