Assuming Nom will pass when it gets back around to him (i.e. right now), then I will wait until you all have confirmed whether or not you would like to use the secondary, then start the status phase.

I think there's pros and cons to each decision we make and uncertainty because Twelve constantly surprises me with his moves. If we decide something on thread he'll plan accordingly. Logistics works just as well for building. A lot of the strategy cards has advantages that he'll benefit from.

That being said, instead of looking for what Twelve can and cannot do I'll look at what I can or cannot do at present. The main thing being moves, I'll gain 2 CTs from status then a further 2 if Leadership popped early. However, by stalling that by 1 turn I can pop trade and gain a further 3 cts which gives me flexibility, increasing fleet size and options. I'll then be able to build a fleet that can compete with Twelve or even Khell if he has designs coming my way. It's my best option right now.

What is best for you? I don't think Diplomacy would be unless you're using your racial traits.
