So you're okay with:

1) Allowing Morgoth to get more tech?
2) Helping the three players who have the best chances of winning (Morgoth, Twelve, Tapper) get what they want?
3) Not severely curtailing everyone else's Action Card hands permanently, thus making your racial ability that much stronger?

Tatts and Khell - if we want to flip the vote on Economic Sanctions, the three of us control a total of 18 votes. Tapper and IH together have 27 votes. I have a Bribery card and 8TGs, so I can add 8 more votes to our 18, which puts us at 26 votes. If you guys between each other can muster 2 TGs to send my way (I cannot be pillaged by Nico currently) then we can flip that vote.

Alternately, Nico hasn't really stated where his votes are going at all, so if we can get Nico (and the two of you) on board for voting FOR the Economic Sanctions vote, so long as either IH or Tapper don't have a Bribery Card, we can still flip this. That would be a hit to everyone else, particularly the three leaders noted above.
