The Great Exchange Candy Exchange

A friend of mine recently took part in something she found on Instagram called the candy swap. She agreed to send a box of South African candy to someone in Britain who returned the favor by sending British sweets to south Africa. It all worked out and she was very happy and I'm very jealous. I was considering doing it myself but I still have a low trust of a system that relies on the goodness of strangers.
Then I had the brilliant idea of the Forum! I guess we are strangers but I also feel like I know and can trust many of you not to up and disappear over a few choclates.
Is anyone interested in a package of South African chocolate and sweets?
Id be interested I getting from Australia or Britain.

A little bit more mercenary this time though. Once you pair up with someone you can discuss how much you want to spend on each other, or I guess even send money to the other person to facilitate the swap.
I need Mars Pods and Tim Tams and Minstrels in my life!

I'm in.
I know no one wants US candy. But there's some local places here that make good stuff.

I'd love to participate but I can't even afford to buy candy for myself (This is a lie I just don't want to share).

Depends upon what you mean "good" is.
For a while, in American podcast circles, there was a thing where Scandinavian listeners or guests would send the hosts candy. Usually the Americans would be appalled because they were used to sweets being... sweet. But a lot of Scandinavian candy is actually very sour or salty or have chilly coating or innards. Often they'll be booby trapped so that they're chocholate on the outside and hot on the inside, etc.
It's fucking delicious but if you're not used to it, it's probably appalling.

Mmm, candy innards.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

If you guys haven't tried chocolate pared with spicy you're missing out. My brother brought some artisanal (aka hipster crafted) chocolate bars home one year for the Holidays. There were all kinds of varieties. The best were the ones that had some sort of spicy pepper as the forward/dominating ingredient. It seems antithetical at first to an enjoyable candy experience, but once you try it, you'll grab for some more.
