I have a friend who keeps on saying she's going to bring this to parties because it's so good, and she keeps forgetting over and over. Now I really want to see what all the fuss is about.

That game is fucking excellent.

D'rek - it's effectively a game of bluff and misdirection. There are three teams - Liberals, Fascists and Hitler. Two Fascists per game, one Hitler, the rest are Liberals. The Fascists know who everyone is and their objective is to pass four Fascist policies or have Hitler elected as President after two Fascist policies pass. The Liberals have to pass 5 Liberal policies OR execute Hitler using the Fascist's Government Power.

Each turn the group elects a President and a Vice-President. The Prez draws three cards from the deck which are policies. They then pass these to the VP who has to pass one. Now, the Prez can pass one of each over, or discard one from the opposing faction so that their party policy has to go in. The VP will be asked if they had a choice in the matter. Later on, if the Pres believes a player is of the opposing faction, they can 'kill' them to remove them from the game.

My first game had me as a Fascist. My tactic was to immediately call out the other one and misdirect towards him constantly. As a result no one suspected me, even at the very end when I revealed I'd been playing them off against each other the whole time. Beautiful.

I'd be willing to do it depending on how often I'd have to be checking in.

Then I would just have to forget all the customizations our play group has done to the original rules.
