The : emoji : words are not always obvious either. Sure, the coincidence is there, but not in writing - until Merrid points it out by disabling the emoji icon in his quote - matching spelling, case, etc., unlike Fandy's emoji.

Merrid is either extremely smart to catch such a subtle link or extremely lucky. Lucky is fine, smart can be dangerous. If anything, I think we overreacted to the "obviousness" of the coincidence. Difficult to say on day 1. Removing for now.

You apparently failing to think about alternative reasons why the suspicious things you highlighted might have come to be makes you suspicious - might be you're a scum and you genuinely overlooked those as you wouldn't really care about really looking for scum as opposed to making a case or you're scum and realised those things but omited them to make it more persuasive.

Otoh the vote for Ruse seems like too much of unneccessarry exposition, the vote for Ruse could very easily be labeled dumb(as it was) and Ara voted just for the sake of being dumb - considering the alternative at the moment Ara could have possibly been lynched the very day as a better alternative to the yawn-case imo, but thread was too caught up in it and there was no going back. I've just made a point and negated it myself, great. Ara's vote for Ruse makes sense if Ara really strongly believed in Fandy's innocence, but on D1 you can't be nowhere near as sure as you should be in order to do that.

Something I find summy about Kalse is that isntead of plying in real time they comment on things from way back effectively minimising their real-time interaction with other players. At the moment I have it in my head that Aranatha is a symp, the kind of play described above fits more into that category to me. Obviously, the next question would be symp for whom? Well I have much more time to play and investigate that today.
