I think BK needs a mantervention.
"Fortune favors the bold, though statistics favor the cautious." - Indomitable Courteous (Icy) Fist, The Palace Job - Patrick Weekes

"Well well well ... if it ain't The Invisible C**t." - Billy Butcher, The Boys

"I have strong views about not tempting providence and, as a wise man once said, the difference between luck and a wheelbarrow is, luck doesn’t work if you push it." - Colonel Orhan, Sixteen Ways to Defend a Walled City - KJ Parker

Just watched episode 1 season 2. Had to watch the season 1 recap to remember what the hell happened last year... Two years ago?

It's off to a rolling, bloody start but like the last season I don't really like their premise. The set-up is a wolverine type of story, not the punisher. I guess I should just accept this is not really Marvel's Punisher as I know him but it just doesn't seem right the way they write him.

Punisher shouldn't be some retired soldier. He should be an active duty soldier fighting a war on crime.

Still Berenthal remains a great choice to play Frank Castle.

Episode 4 starts. We get to see baddie from season 1s face after Punisher fucked him up.

... And what does his face look like? Like somebody painted somed scars on a photomodel.

Fucking Netflix.

8 episodes in. This show is Punisher in name only. It has nothing to do with the comics.

I just read an article that the showrunner read the criticism from last season and decided to ignore it and it shows.

It's hard to believe the writers of this show have read any Punisher.

I'm through eps 1-4. Loved the bathroom fight, it reminded me of the DD S1 hallway fight.

I'm curious to see where this season goes. We've got 2 main baddies so far. Plot is split and I'm not sure where it is going. I'm annoyed that the film canister McGuffins are still not resolved 1/4 of the way through the season.

Let me know how the show ends. I thought about picking back up with episode 9 today and decided I didn't want to waste 5 hours more.

Episode 5 is dragging. I'm not a fan of the Madani story line. Not a huge fan of Rachael's either. I'd much rather have seen Frank disappear into a bolt hole in NYC and restock. Instead he's just kicking rocks in a posh apartment, playing 3 Card Monte (as a lame foreshadowing tool).

Where is The Punisher?

I ended up jumping a couple of episodes and finishing the show. While I like Punisher. There was to many moving threads for me to really start to care. Which sucks as I was really excited about this season. Oh well.
How many fucking people do I have to hammer in order to get that across.

Ugh... Up through 12. I have to admit, Episodes 10 & 11 were on in the background as I watched Critical Role episode 114 on Youtube. I have an episode left and I think I'm going to skip it.

The final episode was fine. I got board even earlier then you did and just jumped to the end of the season.
