What do you call a fursona when your creature isn't furry?

Pretty sure you have to want to be an animal etc to be a fursona, don't you? It's like an alter ego where you dress up and stuff isn't it? I don't want to be an animal and people pretending to be animals is just weird.

I just want to sleep with sentient dragons is all.

Stop trying to make it seem weird.

Good point. Italians are the most absurd of all anthropomorphized creatures.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

I don't know what that is. Is this one of those gross medical things I don't want to know about?

About slightly taller than average Caucasian male height for the hind-walkers and 1.5 that for the four legged ones if they reared up.

Cha! Because Khaavren gives wonderful quotes - such as:

"It is, to be sure, easier to parry a cut to the head when one's opponent announces that he is about to make one. But often, I have found, my opponents fail to inform me of their precise intentions in a timely manner. This has happened so frequently, in fact, that I have taken to keeping the nature of my own strokes a secret, as a sort of revenge."

I love phoenixes, they are my favourite mythological creature - waaaaaay cooler than dragons ;) - perhaps because I'm just a tad obsessed with the idea of immortality. So a phoenix rising from the ashes has been my avatar on most interwebby things ever since I've been doing interwebby things, it was my FB photo on my original profile. As for the winter part, I got sick of phoenix related usernames being taken so I added the winter part for this forum and my PSN because the idea of an ice phoenix is really cool. That being the case I figured I'd try and find a photo of such a thing, the blue phoenix was a close as I could get in an admittedly very short search.

Mine is a picture of Salt-Man Z, of course. The moniker (and avatar) is my online handle pretty much everywhere at this point. It's a holdover from a Transformers message board; they had just done a software upgrade, and everyone had to make new user accounts, so I figured this time around I'd pick a TF-centric name. I looked around my desk for inspiration, and sitting right next to me was the box for the Argentina-exclusive Transformer that I had recently picked up at BotCon...
"Here is light. You will say that it is not a living entity, but you miss the point that it is more, not less. Without occupying space, it fills the universe. It nourishes everything, yet itself feeds upon destruction. We claim to control it, but does it not perhaps cultivate us as a source of food? May it not be that all wood grows so that it can be set ablaze, and that men and women are born to kindle fires?"

High praise indeed, considering the source.

;)

My avatar is inspired by a stuff-up I made a little while ago and what happens when apologies go horribly wrong.

Someone else's avatar somewhere and somewhence was the picture of the woman in mine. Then I copied it and added the smiley faces.

Wish I remembered why.

You are obsessed with burning to a crisp on a regular basis and having to painstakingly reconstruct yourself from your own ashes? For eternity? As far as life ambitions go, I would opt for a healthy diet first and see how far that gets you.
Yesterday, upon the stair, I saw a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today. Oh, how I wish he'd go away.

My original avatar was a photo of my cat, but after I had to have him euthanized in January last year I couldn't keep it...made me too sad.
So I changed it to a drawing of a dragon because I think dragons are awesome, and I'm a fire dragon in the Chinese Zodiac. ;)
