You only said peppers and onions above, not hot peppers. GET YOUR STORY STRAIGHT!

Long Ma is disappointed in you...

I will say that condiments do make or break a sandwich, sometimes even innocuous condiments like onions.

Peppers though...they TOTALLY make the sandwich.

Peppers on the Uno Mustachio sandwich are a MUST. Extra Sauce is also key.

I said onions and peppers AND i said hot/spicy, which means banana peppers too.
Don't try to blame me for your weak fail sandwich. I sent you there, i told you what to eat, ...if you needed me to escort you and order for you and feed it to you it costs more.

No sandwich is worth your own soul, Byssy Cat.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

You paid 16 Canadian dollars for a sandwich? Is this normal? I would die!

That's a pretty normal price for any sort of sandwich/burger in a restaurant around here. This place wasn't a restaurant, but it's in a "hip" marketplace thingamajig so as far as they're concerned it's the same thing.

This should be qualified. It's normal for a sandwich, a side, and a drink.

It is NOT normal for JUST a sandwich.

Even the most pricey burger in Toronto on its own will only cost you $8-9 TOPS, and those are for gourmet burgers at places like W, Wahlburgers, or Burger Priest.

The sandwich in question is huge, but it's also a total price gouge.

Which i willingly participate in because it is (or was) SO DAMN YUMMY.

There is at least one other place in TO that makes a similar sandwich similarly awesome, but it is inconveniently middle-of-nowhere, while Mustache is right downtown and thus nearby when i'm there.

LIES! LIES!

Random counter-example: Union Social's burgers and sandwiches are $15.

(to be clear though, the Uno Mustachio sandwiches on their own are $8-10 (before tax))

Well that's cause Union Social is in the business of fleecing hipsters. Lol!

In a manner of speaking. But then again, anything can be a taco. If it identifies as such.
