I don't really like this sentiment. Once the game has got going, sure, you can't keep hold of your early judgements about who is on which team. But until then there's no reason not to try and avoid everyone misunderstanding each other. Yes people should be speaking for themselves, but that doesn't mean that others can't speak up when they see something being interpreted wrongly.

In my opinion it is better for town to know early, look at how many possible roles there are. I am looking at the game from right now, not potentially in the future.

Initially I thought the same, but what if a recruited CF gets the true CF for themselves and their leader but can also choose what CF to release on thread? There has been such role in the past.
