why odd?
I make a statement in support of my earlier assertion that the set up is 9:1:1 (post 15)
I am told I might have made a mistake
I go back to what I used to support my argument (PS' character sheet) and look for a possible indication that the set up might be NOT 9:1:1 (which is how I interpreted Fand's comment).
and I see this:
Quote
Johannes Cabal has been following the Brotherhood of the Beast for years, in hopes that he may get a chance to destroy its leader, who he knows to be Nyarlathotep. The death of such a powerful being would surely empower him, give him even more control over the dead than he currently holds. He barely even notices the maddening whispers that forever live in the back of his mind anymore.
The underlined would suggest that he is NOT part of the Beast cult, since he wants to kill its leader. At the same time, he appears to be subtly possessed, and process of elimination would make him part of Dagon, unless there's a 4th faction in play.

With faction break down I'm relatively certainly certain you are all just be idiots with your votes.
I'm sure there's jack all here to look at but I will. Cult is either low poster or active non-sensical poster early.

Checking in, but won't be very active until tomorrow. Still recovering from a weekend of bachelor party-ing.
Based on the cast, the setup looks like 9/1/1, Gamelon where are you getting the 7/2/2 idea from?

Also, the cast has 11 roles, and only 2 are cult.

Don't defend others. This is Cult and Town. No reason to do anything else. I found that abnormal as well. Speak for yourself because your friend today might be something else tomorrow.

Point taken though, could have clarified better.
Two hiding places. (Actually, far more but for games sake lets make it playable.)

There's 11 players alive. If each cult starts with 2, that's already 7:2:2. Town's can be screwed after one bad lynch + 2 successful recruits.
I think someone's been symp one game too many.
Not read the roles yet but I'd vote you for that ratio.

Vote Fanderay
I am in the mindset that a cultist should lay low day one, keep out of the limelight and not get any attention. So if I had gotten that role I would be playing similarly to how Fanderay is at the moment.
I found you. Admit it, then we lynch you and look for the other one.

Voting people 6-7 hours into a game for low activity is a BS strategy and inevitably leads to misleading chaos

Misleading chaos? Really? That sounds a bit OTT to me. Besides, I didn't vote you for low activity, I voted you for no activity . Turning up to the game and finding a vote on your head has a way of focusing minds.

I don't really like this sentiment. Once the game has got going, sure, you can't keep hold of your early judgements about who is on which team. But until then there's no reason not to try and avoid everyone misunderstanding each other. Yes people should be speaking for themselves, but that doesn't mean that others can't speak up when they see something being interpreted wrongly.

And I wasn't even speaking for anyone, I merely provided relevant quotes to point out what seemed like Alkend's ignorance. I find it a little out of place too.
