Now I'm tempted towards Bek again.

In order to clear up some questions, I'll reveal vig. I'd have preferred to wait until day 3 or 4 to shoot, but my ability changes based on if I'm recruited as well as whom I'm recruited by. Assuming we had a 9-1-1 split I popped my load on night one because I wanted to insure I was able to do so as town. I was also trying to hit a recruiter and stop them on night 1 before they could launch. Fandy/Nom triggered my scumdar between the spammy paranoid point fingers at everyone playstyle and his willingness to purposely ignore over half of what a player says on a topic to attempt to pin a bullshit case. Also, I've owed Nom a meta death for a few games now.

As far as the no vote goes, when I went to bed for the night we'd had minimal activity for hours and the leading train on BO was only at 3 votes. I simply didn't believe a lynch was possible and my personal pick for a cult leader already had a death sentence.

What disturbs me about Okaros' vote on Serc is that he picks up on Serc's reaction to Fandy, when Fandy did in fact look at only a fragment of Serc's post.

If Serc was indignant, he was quite justified.

It really does seem like Okaros is trying to capitalise on his perceived CF status and drive a fast lynch. He probably wants to use Town frustration at a no-lynch as well for this.

So yeah, I've gone back through all of Okaros's posts yesterday and while he's very clear that if he is recruited, no CF will be given by PS on thread, it doesn't mention at what point that behaviour starts. I'm not sure we can assume that Okaros wasn't recruited last night because we got a CF of the NKed player.

(I should be clear that it doesn't follow that we should just assume he has been recruited, just that I am not going to take his word that last night's CF confirms his towniness).

Interesting reveal. I'm kind of surprised you would pop a one-shot vig on Night 1. Wait until Night 2 and your chances of hitting a cult player with the vig increases substantially. I guess I can see the point of view that you would want to get the vig out of the way so there was no chance of one of the cults getting their hands on it, but feels like a bit of a waste.

(The reveal has a ring of truth to it though, so leaning towards it being genuine unless there's a counterclaim)

Worst case yesterday was two people (cult) would not want to lynch. They want their faction to grow. Lynching reduces that pool of players they can recruit from as well as increasing their likelihood of hitting recruit proof or other things.

Today WCS is four people unwilling to vote. Or at least two of each cult that will not want to lynch the cultist.

It will get harder and harder for town to lynch the right person. Then town will lose and it will be between the two factions.
