Okay other jobs took slightly longer than anticipated. Prior note: I will cut this off when I need to leave and dump the unfinished post on thread.
So we start with Khells sudden about-face. Which was kind of expected but I'd still like to note it here.
I was distancing from it ever since JPK self voted, which I was not expecting. Take that how you want but it seems eminently sensible to me to start questioning your prior convictions after a move like that.
And the "I won't fight a day 2 lynch" post was made at a time when I was certain I would be lynched, so I was just saying whatever to get attention on JPK for day 2 - which, turns out, would have been wrong. Oops? Still, could have been worse, he could have been roled.
So the JPK train starts off with Khells vote
That and the defending and deflection by Mess.
Still sticking with me symping JPK, Khell?
Dirty doesn't come close Mac.
So the first follower doesn't like doing it but is going to anyway to 'test the theory.' Perhaps (Shocking speculation!) Mac is Khells symp and wants to get traction started in another direction?
Nom steps up next, too many nested quotes for this reply
It feels like the bait thing occured to you as convenient just before this post. I don't particularly like the way you're trying to turn around the attention that Khell's giving you against him.
Can't say I'm convinced by his case but Khell doesn't appear any outstandingly scummy to me and because of the above points I'd much rather
vote Kitsu
Tatts then votes for Blend for tunnel vision
Ment throws out a post that says nothing for the quality of the case or for what they think of anything...
There's a long break before the next votes flow, from RI Tatts going with Macs favourite, gut.
Siergie considers JPK to be the likeliest despite the trains being equal, EoD being a long way off and joins Khell clutching at his own turd. Tatts removes because long time to go, returning to 5vs5
JPK self-votes
Siergiej votes for Nom
Another long gap, Tatts votes JPK then jumps to Blend
Siergie jumps to Blend, JPK to Khell. Khell is now on 5 votes, JPK on 4.
Andorian wanders along:
Uhhh... what?
Tatts jumps back to JPK who then suicides.
Not by any moeans much of an analysis posted for which I appologies. My own conclusion is that the sweet posters that sent it to JPK were, aside from Khell/Mac combo at the start of the train, Siergie who tipped JPK from hopeful of bouncing it back to Khell and primarily Andorian who with his vote and subsequent vanishing sealed the lynch of JPK.
Whilst I'm suspicious of Khell/Mac and would like Khell lynched, to me Andorian and Siergie look like a better place to find scum.

For now, I find Khell's backpedalling a huge red flag. He was distancing from his earlier conviction about JPK just before Night was resolved and now he basically admitted his post from D1 was bullshit. Me no likes.
With the case on JPK proven wrong, I'm also still inclined to go after Nom.
And, of course, I would be more than happy to lynch Blend for the same reason as D1.

You did read the M&P bit of the signups, Khell? So if it is 1 then that is highly imbalanced. 12 players so 2 killers 1 symp for 4-1 or 2 killers 2 symps for 3-1.

It's 3-1 and 2-1 to one actually. I don't think we're playing against 4 scum, it would mean D-day right now. As much as I prefer playing off WCS, you're taking it too far Mess.

Actually just bad maths on my part. Divided 12 by 3 and 12 by 4. Check my previous games for counting hours, particularly in relation to time remaining

2-1 is too easy so must be 3vs9. I don't see 2vs10 as being likely

And actually, it's not me fear-mongering. Saying it is 2-1 is seriously more fear inducing than saying 3-1.

In fact I'd go so far as to say 2-10 is pretty much un-winnable for scum. 5-1 you'd likely be looking at 2 killers with independent kills. Only Tatts died ergo wrong.

Lynching me would be a mistake.
Also killing me would be a mistake.
Instead, I propose an experiment: lynch Blend or Tatts and see if their heads literally explode. Blend, Tatts, we'll require a live video feed.

Hang on a second...
That comment about lynching is fine given Blend pushing, but why is Khell thinking in terms of killing?
Only a killer worries about killing.
Ergo Khell is scum
lol, are you serious? That was my first post, and it was tongue in cheek given my already precarious position. I really did not expect to survive day 1 from the get go.

The fantastic thing is that everybody voted. Everybody had an opinion, or at least pretended that they did. Now, what are we thinking re scum numbers? Presumably, more than one.
You did read the M&P bit of the signups, Khell? So if it is 1 then that is highly imbalanced. 12 players so 2 killers 1 symp for 4-1 or 2 killers 2 symps for 3-1.
Well exactly. What about that contradicts anything I've said? I think there are multiple scum, which seems obvious, and my personal belief is that there is at least one on each major train.
That gives us two nice smaller groups to go through. Other people might feel different, but I feel confident in eliminating some people as potential suspects (for now), which makes the groups even smaller. For example, Blend from the "Khell group".

I do, in fact, arch my eyebrow quizzically at those who have defended me the most ardently - as, aside from myself, only scum know for sure that I am not one of them.

I'm in Kentucky for a career fair all day today. Will be back tonight to catch up.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Years ago before I became an admin I caught too players cheating using the PS powers( they PMed me by accident). It sucked and ruined Mafia for me for a long time. When I became an admin, I swore to myself never to abuse those powers in game or on the boards in general. And I never have. And no those two don't play anymore.
Except that time in TLDMS when you made a post in my alt while I was supposed to be dead.
????
mod power abuse. Don't think I've forgotten
I don't remember what game that was. And why did you edit my post?

I'm going to be busy most of the rest of today but will try to put together an assessment of three or four players tonight/tomorrow.
