@Mac: I thought that if I, Nom, you, and Khell pile up on Mess we could lynch him, but that was wrong which Mess pointed out to me. We would have been a vote short. My basic math has been dreadful this game. I blame the mistakes on late evening/early morning. Alternatively, on me being a dumbass.

Mess is my primary suspect now. I'm kind of glad Nom is out of the picture, though it's a curious target. I'm still suspicious of HD and Ment seems to be taking the back seat this game, which is unusual.

The small good thing about this timeout is that even WCS we're not in D-day.

Macros not believing Khell is going to make things difficult for the town at this point. Macros could test Khell's reveal by healing him tonight and seeing if there's an NK, but by doing the killers' work for them and eliminating one of the town roles it's giving them one fewer weapon to use. Also, Messremb should be getting a ton of heat given the amount of bullshit he has been peddling. At least a couple of statements he's made would have drawn my ire if I was playing, including:

- In a 2 scum vs 10 town game, the scum wouldn't stand a chance. [The last game I remember modding (Mafia 87.5) was precisely such a game, and the killer pair waltzed to victory. That game cemented my belief that in general we aren't very good at this game ]
- Healer is the easiest role to claim. [Healers are supposed to avoid revealing at all costs, because they are immediately an NK target. Staying hidden is the best strategy for playing them, which makes a healer reveal suspicious in the extreme]

The question is whether the town who aren't supremely blinkered on Khell will be convincing enough to swing the lynch onto him. They might get support from the killers if they're lucky, since neither of them have spotted Mess's signaling AFAIK.

I think what Blend was doing on Day 1 was really useful. It whipped up a lot of discussion and there was a bunch of stuff to work with on all the players, including the killers. Since then though, he's gone off the deep end. There was no point in continuing his schtick once it had accomplished its purpose. Hell, he could have dropped it near the end of Day 1 and it wouldn't have changed anything. By continuing the relentless tunnel vision on Khell he guarantees at least one unnecessary lynch by town, possibly 2 (if they decide they need to get rid of Blend to maintain their sanity). He should be able to see that's not something town can really afford any more.

I think there's some benefit to polarising the thread the way he did. You get the most information when you force everyone to make a decision, and in this case there was the real rarity of everyone voting on Day 1. And then in theory you should be filtering through the choices players made and trying to find the ones looking to stay on the edges of the carnage (like both Ment and HD did). Bubba did a good job of that and fingered HD, but sadly didn't have the conviction to stick to his guns on it.
