For sure, it's just a game. But it's a team game, and there are certain expectations stemming from that.

People are not upset because town lost (that happens frequently enough as is). They are upset because they played against a major unexpected handicap that showed up because you decided to make one up.

You were basically a 3rd faction, playing to the town's total detriment.

If you can't understand that, there's not much else to say.

As I said in the other thread, if people had sucked it the fuck up and played the game instead of seething about how *I* played the game, we could very well have won that.

There's no way anyone really believed I was scum. They let their feelings get in the way, and just handed you the game. They didn't even let the day wind down before doing it.

Everyone is trying to blame ME for their poor play, but let's be serious, it's not MY fault that you let your feelings rule your play instead of your mind.

Well played scum, you saw what was happening and adapted well to it. I particularly enjoyed Ment's disapproval at Blend while at the same time it totally helped him - I knew one of Ment or Mac had ulterior motives to that outrage, just picked the wrong one

Play of the game for me goes to Messremb, for hammering me just before I was going to post about how HD is definitely 100% a killer.
