Really impressed by what Jesse Marsch has accomplished with Canada in such short notice.

And we're through! On penalties no less...

I'd still feel happier if any of it was convincing...

Swiss had the opportunity to avoid PKs.

But they turned the pressure on too late.
*shrug*

NED pulled it off against Turkiye, though it was a close call.

Hopefully at least one not-boring team makes it to the final.

It's... Coming home?

Not likely I know, but neither was getting to the final at all, based on *gestures vaguely at everything*

I know it's highly unlikely, but I sincerely hope England can pull it off and win their maiden Euro.

Anyone but those fucking Spaniards!

I mean, that second goal was a beauty no matter how you slice it.

Spain realistically is the better team, though. But if Southgate plays his bench offense early, the game might look interesting.

OK, this is pretty cool - even if you're not an England fan.

There's a small part of me that doesn't actually want England to win purely because I know how the likes of Farage etc are going to be if they do. I don't want to give them the satisfaction haha

If it makes you feel any better Farage won't be celebrating.

Congrats Spain. After the Women's WC final they must be some sort of bogey side for England now.

Spain's victory made me feel such an intense rush of anger that I've been suffering from a headache.

They won everything on the way through didn't they?

Full disclosure I think I watched one game, and by watched I mean it was on in the background, of the entire tournament.

But from what I gathered England were lacklustre most of the way through with some last minute heroics scraping them through, off the back of some truly bizarre selections.

At what stage do England stop giving a fuck about who a player plays for, or what the media is saying and actually just go for form players?

If your hatred for a country/people is such that you get a headache when they win a sports game, maybe you need to re-evaluate some stuff...

Don't worry, it's strictly a sports thing. Outside of sports I get along with Spaniards just fine.

Queen Elizabeth the First said the same thing.

Queen Elizabeth the First said the same thing.

Nah she saw the Spanish ships coming and said "Armada here!" and ran away!
