We seem to be very split. I will vote for Tatts (who is currently leading by one vote I think) but only on the grounds of trying to get a lynch. I am not convinced by that one at all. I would be happier to switch to Nom out of the two (or stick with Blissy).

Yes, I have been rather quiet so far. That doesn't mean I don't have a right to my vote.

The largest problem I have is that there isn't a stronger case elsewhere. We have SEVERAL symp cases being made that are impossible to prove on day 1. Then there's the "Nom looks like a killer" case for bringing up the fact that Mafia Manager randomizes who gets roles, and that PS likely wouldn't tweak it to keep Khell from being a killer if it were to fall that way.

Then we have you Tatts. Yet again saying something to draw attention your way on day one. If you are a guard, why in the fuck would you reveal that this early? That role is one of towns only weapons to go back on the killers - if it lasts long enough. Thus making it so that we as town don't want to kill you. We want the guard around as long as possible. Now however you've "revealed" and have attempted to "draw the kill".

Thus I see your play so far as having three options. One- you are a suicidal guard (unlikely). Two- you're RI and false revealed to draw the kill. However, in doing so your death won't actually give us any additional information to follow up on. Three - you're scum and gambled that by "revealing" you'd put town into a position where it felt that you were too important to lynch.

Tatts has baffled me a bit now. Notably the post where he claims he was drawing a kill and that the town should not lunch him. It just seems over the top on a move that he claims was to see who reacted.
I still think it's likely tatts just fucking about, but I don't see enough being on to come change their vote to the other two candidates I'd feel better voting for. And I'll likely be castigated for saying this, but Malazan mafia has an awful habit of chasing a failed lynch into day 2, and if this lynch stalls at -2/-1 I can envision how tomorrow will go so. So

This is bullshit. Why are we lynching Tatts? He would be prime target for scum anyway, so why are we doing their job for them? I can already hear their sinister giggles as they make sure they placed the provisionals for 'If Tatts is lynched...'. What are the odds he's scum who opened his game with claiming Guard? Why would a killer ever play like that? Best case scenario Tatts could be a symp, but we won't know that anyway. Worst case, we lynch a Guard on D1. How does that help us?

Okay, deep breath, end of rant. I'm mad that we're wasting a lynch on Tatts but there's no one else on-thread right now and like what, 90 minutes until timeout? I will stick around for the next half an hour or so. If a miracle doesn't happen, I'll hammer before going to sleep.

I have to agree with Sierg and Khell that it is unlikely that Tatts is a killer. But we don't have much time left and I don't think that we can get another lynch.

A crowd of zealous puritans (for what greater good can there be than saving the world?) find that the frieze over the East entrance of the Temple of the Lady has finally been completed. Standing and admiring the still-damp plaster is a single figure. The citizens stumble to a halt for a moment, hold a brief whispered argument about the theoretical differences between 'appreciation' and 'guilt' and surge forward swift as a mob can be.

With no more warning than a breath or two of scuttling feet the figure is pushed to the ground as bodies writhe to fasten onto a part of him. Those who have in the past drawn lewd images upon the privy walls are most eager to grasp hold, that they may better show how honest a citizen they are.

The writhing pile of bodies slowly stills as the strength of those closest to the figure fails beneath the not insignificant weight of their fellows. After a time those eager but slowest on the uptake slip off the heap of flesh. As the pile shrinks those most keen are slowly exposed in time to grasp a much needed lungful of air. Eventually the figure is revealed, smothered by the weight of the mob.

In a fit of holy righteousness the priest summoned the militia and descended on the estate. A short time later a corpse hung from the city walls whilst the Ladys Altar received two hands and a tongue, for the Lord had tried to deny his guilt
