I love when your guys and our guys team up.

They came with white hands and left with red hands.

This will no doubt be conveniently swept under a very big rug given the current news cycle.

If any of you are not familiar with the comedy of Stewart Lee, now is the time:

My link

I saw him live about 5 years ago and I haven't laughed so hard very often. Steve Coogan was sat behind us and he liked it too.

Watching the funeral tomorrow but I'm a bit tired of the sight of people walking slowly around the queens coffin now. I missed Camilla's broadcast to the nation - thank god! Looking forward to getting back to normal on Tuesday. Always better when British politics focuses on Brexit and people not being able to heat their homes or feed their children.

Sight of children sacrificing piles of marmalade sandwiches, teddy bears, and so on to the dead queen... smh.

Had not appreciated how long The Funeral was going to be when I said I'd watch it.

It was pretty inescapable yesterday, every single TV station was roiding it. Absolutely barmy attempt at nationalistic worship.

We stuck Netflix on instead.

Did Truss really just recommend trickle down economics to the world?

Imagine earning £25k a year! That's quite literally fantasy money.

I've been doing law for ten years and I don't even break £20k a year. This government is fucked. Heads on spikes please.

Yet I imagine most mainstream media outlets will present it as a heroic response to how terrible everything is (without mentioning just whose fault it is that everything is so terrible...)

Well, let's put it this way:

Politicians are only responsible to their constituents every 3 years or so. However often you hold your elections.
They are responsible to their big business paymasters donors every minute of every day. Especially because they're also hoping to snag a job with them straight after leaving politics.
