I have no idea whether we'll even have a minister for my agency this time tomorrow. That's kind of odd. But we were here before they arrived, and we'll be here after they've gone. Which is, of course, why they hate us. So yeah.
My MP is Angela Rayner btw. She may end up as my boss soon, depending on how things go.
Not exactly a fan of Starmer, but one of the things that Corbyn had in common with Boris is that he was precisely the wrong man in the wrong job at the wrong time - not ever going to forgive him for his stance during the Brexit Referendum.
PR may come into play after the next election, if we're left with a minority government. Which has its disadvantages, as it'll mean we'll see the Tories back in the game sooner than we would have otherwise.

If an opinion contrary to your own makes you angry, that is a sign that you are subconsciously aware of having no good reason for thinking as you do. If some one maintains that two and two are five, or that Iceland is on the equator, you feel pity rather than anger, unless you know so little of arithmetic or geography that his opinion shakes your own contrary conviction. … So whenever you find yourself getting angry about a difference of opinion, be on your guard; you will probably find, on examination, that your belief is going beyond what the evidence warrants.
