This might be one of the funniest things I've seen WWE do in a long time.

Skip to around 1.40 for the good part to begin.

Consider me sports entertained.

Man that just looks like the cringiest trash TV ever produced.
I get why I liked it on a Saturday morning when I was like 10. But, how can you watch this nonsense?

It's okay if you just Watch the 20 minute summaries on YouTube or the small clips they post on social media. Otherwise, yeah, it's basically 90% garbage.

But Brawn Strowman is quickly approaching Stone Cold levels of entertainment.

I think someone may have posted the first trailer for this somewhere else on the forum. Here is the second trailer.

The number of beers he consumed in one sitting is the stuff of legends.

As shitty as that era was in terms of working conditions and the politics, there's something romantic about Andre the Giants era of Wrestling. I love hearing stories about the age when kayfabe was real and these Wrestlers were treated like super stars. In many ways these people were larger than life and they lived rockstar life styles we can hardly imagine today.

I hope this isn't just one long circle jerk about how great Andre was. From many of the stories I've listened to the past couple of years, Andre could be a mean piece of shit as well as a great friend. I'd like to see him examined as a professional wrestler, not just the icon he became later.

Renewed my WWE Network subscription in anticipation of Wrestlemania tomorrow. I've ignored WWE recaps on youtube the past month and somehow I actually think it's increased my anticipation of the show.

Only thing I've actually kept tabs on is Daniel Bryan returning to wrestling and Ronda Rousey starting a feud with The Authority. I am curious to see if she can actually wrestle. Not shoot wrestle but rather put on a show. She is wooden on the microphone but damn does she have the look. Her grabbing HHH by the throat just looked vicious.

Also wouldn't mind seeing both Daniel Bryan and Kurt Angle becoming active wrestlers, instead of just seeing them perform a couple times a year.

Kurt Angle has had so many serious concussions/neck injuries that as much as i'd LOVE to see him be regularly active again, we'd probably have an in-ring death if he was.
meh. Link was dead :(

You're probably right but Angle was/is so good.

If you got the Network, watch Nxt takeover while waiting for WM! It was an awesome show yesterday! First match is a six man ladder match for the new north american belt. It is grand.
Yesterday, upon the stair, I saw a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today. Oh, how I wish he'd go away.

And Kurt Angle -was- acttive in the ring until he got called up for the hall of fame, so no reason to assume he wouldnt be able to do it. He was fighting in the uk only a week prior to last year’s Hall of Fame induction.

It goes live around 4 o'clock in at night/morning here. I am going to bed early and watching it live I think. I've got the day off and I can't imagine waiting 7 hours for it to get uploaded to the network.

Got the day off as well. Preshow starts at 10pm and Mania itself at midnight. So should be heading off to bed around 5.30/6am. Around 4am yesterday due to the unscheduled match between Chiampa and Gargano. Which probably will be a 5* one. Every single time since the start of Nxt takeovers, they have soundly trumped the main WWE ppvs and most likely that will be the case this weekend too. Unless Aj Styles vs Nakamura actually manages to live up to the hype.

But yeah, seriously, the Nxt takeover show was bloody awesome. Blows most of the wwe ppv events of the past 3-4 years out of the water.
If you ever want to show a layman what wrestling really is about, just show them this event. It had it all. Perfect card, perfect execution. A masterpiece.

Oh wow, the show starts with the ‘future of music’.

I fear for the future.

With Wresltemania there's always the Hall of Fame induction. Did any of you guys watch it? Who was inducted? Any glaring omissions or inductees who aren't quite deserving yet? Also, did they run a "who we lost this last year" segment? It's always sad to see who is no longer attached to this mortal coil. Wrestlers leave this world a lot faster then the rest of us it seems.

No ‘who we lost’ segment this year.

The inductees were the Dudley Boys, Hillbilly Jim, Ivory, Mark Henry, Jeff Jarrett and Goldberg. All deserving in their own right. Most interesting bit (to me at least) was that both Jeff and Mark referenced Owen Hart and Henry even made a very passionate plea to Owen’s widow to allow Owen to be inducted. So who knows, maybe next year...

Celebrity inductee was Kid Rock. Luckily, like Snoop Dogg, he kept his speech relevant and relatively short (as far as speech lenghts go for a HoF).

Oh FFS!!!!

Gods I really hate WWE sometimes. Three matches in and they have already fucked up their main show again. Effing Mahal?!?! Seriously, how can you do an absolutely amazing NXT ppv one day and then shit over your whole fan base the next day with this utter shite? I will keep watching to see how they are going to save this show but again Wrestlemania is heading towards disappointment. Jesus wept.
