This. If you can post this much, you can give an opinion.

no...no, this is wrong. If I only had time to post from my phone to avoid modkill but couldn't read the entire thread, plz explain to me how I had time to "give an opinion" about anyone other than myself.

Also I am reading up. Like Scar, be prepared....for...stuff I post later on. And thingz.

I didn't know wth you were talking about here so I googled it...
For everyone else:

So like Scar you are saying that we are all stupid and that you plan on killing someone so you can take over?

This looks like you are planting an Easter egg so you can laugh at us all for not catching onto your reveal as killer.

Fuck that shit.

I'm just checking in. I haven't read up yet. This is crazy btw. First, you've never seen The Lion King. WTF? Second, you think in my third post so far this game where I have basically done nothing, I am coding in a blatantly obvious reference to an animated character singing a cool song - and that means I'm a killer? WTF.

Also, go watch the movie, Scar isn't trying to kill everyone, he's trying to overthrow the king. "No king, no king, la la la la la!" "Idiots! I WILL BE KING!" I'm sorry, does town have a King? I missed that part of the game. Who would I be overthrowing exactly? After Scar takes over as King, he doesn't kill anyone. He makes them his slaves, makes them do his bidding. Damn. Pay attention. It was a fucking joke - like, I've been gone all game, be prepared for a lot of posts from me as I read up!!!! ;)

Basically, if you want to lynch me over enjoying a song from an animated musical, be my fucking guest. You can cry about how wrong you were later. Moron.

Oh and anyone who wants to OMGUS about how defensive this post is, eat a bag of dicks. I'm frustrated and taking it out on human idiocy, which should never be looked down upon.

Also I feel better now.

Honestly...I thought everyone knows Lion King and Scar. Damn I loved it back then...

Actually when I read the line I naturally switched on my sarcasm voice.

So what we got from Lock so far is zero content from beginning, then loudy defence after being called out and voted, and now turning to easiest prey. I don't like especially the 2nd and 3rd phase.

Den keeps doing the same bullshit he's done d1, or atleast he started to do so. Wonder what your reasons were this time?

Not enough posting from people to go on apart from thin suspicions unfortunately. I'll go with either Telas for their jumping on Grasp train and little else, or Lock because of their sudden spurt in posting once a case was made on them.

This is where Shadows thoughts lie. Looking at Telas, each day he has voted and disappeared. I've given my thoughts on Lock.

I'm going to read over Denesmet and Kadagar as they are both as vocal as me this game.

Voting for someone before they are on thread stands out. Roled players stereotypically are more careful. More logical, AF is at the start of the player list.

This post from Denesmet towards Grasp. He's looking for roled players and Grasp fits that bill and he thinks Grasps is over doing the townie angle.

Steak sauce is for amateurs. What you want is butter on top of your steak.

Start of page 2 and he has no opinion on any of that.

He had a delayed entrance to the game so had to read up but come away with nothing. Yet later votes that way as the strongest option on day one.

OMGUS
Did you see more in that first few pages than I did? I saw lots of voting, remove votes and talks about steak.

You saw nothing in page one.

Yet you're voting for Aparal.

It is the best day 1 case. I think Grasp has a point regarding their voting, but demelain's symping makes it.

Edit: Demelain= Denesmet

Kadagar wholly disagrees with Denesmet regarding Grasp. He sees Denesmet as a symp. I don't but I can see him linked to Telas.

Vote hanas

Hanas is so much more sketch than AF, but I'm going to look back again and see if there are any other twitchers like Grasp.

Reading back, I'm more inclined to go for Telas, who similarly jumped on but doesn't have the same carefree jump on jump off nature to their voting that Hanas does (by which I mean scum are less likely to be so flagrant with their desire to be on a lynch train).

Meh, I guess. I reread Telas and am not seeing what you are. Landed on Grasp after being somewhat helpful/constructive. Dunno, I see the AF vote as kind of stereotypical pile on without a thought situation. Would have expected a scummy Telas to happily drop
into the middle of that train not a foundling case like my own.

Here Shadow points out hid unease about Telas and Denesmet disagrees. Slight defense of Telas by Denesmet.

Likewise. Oh well, here now. Seems everyone is happy to put the info that could be put in one post into five. Because, you know, post count is important.

Nothing unusual with that

But you seem to be trying to look like you're adding some content though you're certainly not.

Same issue I have with Kadagar rests on Korlat aswel.

Yeah, I ahve way less time on my hands than I expected. The curse of a busy job, and yes, I didn't provide any content. You want me to post my thoughts?
There could be plenty of reasons for the AF-Hanas spat, which started with Hanas having a hard-on for AF and now AF got lynched.... and some of these possible reasons might not even game-related.

Basically what we did though, is run yet again with a signalling case like its amateur hour. I might have to swallow my foot here if AF does come up as scum, but I completely agree with Demesnet when he states

 Denesmet, on 24 November 2015 - 04:45 PM, said:

vote grasp.

For suggesting a paired scum mechanic that requires signaling to identify each other while not seeing the logical fallacy of his purposefully misleading speculation.

The spat resulting from that is extremely interesting. Denesmet has the better of Grasp in a battle of one-liners, and the participation of others on the sidelines is pretty telling. KF tries returning the focus away from Grasp back onto AF with nary a mention for the debate happening under his eyes could be seen as defusing. Ultama saying Demesnet is 'too eager' definitely is.
Grasp comes back at Telas and Merrid, calling them Denesmet's sheep, after which Ultama (him again) comes up with this gem:

 Ultama, on 24 November 2015 - 09:41 PM, said:

 Merrid, on 24 November 2015 - 08:14 PM, said:

 Denesmet, on 24 November 2015 - 05:40 PM, said:

When is fake signaling or joke voting each other advantageous for both parties concerned? And off thread coms to discuss this action beforehand? Logic fail. Seems like you are digging for a rational rationale and coming up with cat shit.

Which is basically why I agree with Denesmet. He says it a lot better and I'd the best case out there at present.

Yeah Grasp's theory surely has some holes...or black holes....

But he's not saying "hey, this is how it is, theyre scum, lynch them now!", he just threw it out as an idea, not real case

Den is making a mountain out of a molehill, and he is too eager into it

Ultama then responds by saying he is willing to lynch Hanas, implicating he is against a Grasp lynch. Why?
Then two lines underneath, KF mentions that AF is the best case and calls Denesmet a symp for attacking Grasp, and then we get this:

 Grasp, on 24 November 2015 - 11:57 PM, said:

It will cost the town a roled player.

Dramatic. As Denesmet concludes, if the reveal is believed by scum to be true, Grasp ought to die. If he doesn't, then what? Is he scum? Or will he opt for the age old Wifom defense - "they want you guys to waste a lynch on me!" .... which is a bogus argument, considering that if Grasp is roled and doesn't reveal a role, he could be a finder, and which scum lets a finder run around unchecked?

And finally:

Kadagar Fant, on 25 November 2015 - 01:59 AM, said:

Back home and will try to be around till timeout. Denesmet, what is with the Hanas vote? You've been trying to get everyone to vote anywhere but AF, but I missed your case there.

Concluding, KF & Ultama have been very defensive of Grasp before he claimed roled townie, and tried what they could to brand the person attacking Grasp to be overly aggressive and single minded. Even after Demesnet removed, we see the same people attack.

I think there's plenty of smoke, and probably a fire.

T dawg has this theory about Ultama and KF being paired. Something to remember down the line. You'd be mad not to listen to this guy but right now Telas and Denesmet are the ones giving me the creeps.

Besides, the pattern I mentioned also involved AF & Ultama on one side, and Telas, Merrid and Demesnet on the other. Not to mention that Bubba's reasoning, for which Denesmet called him out, still sucked.

Finally, while the Andorion CF doesn't mean Hanas is town, it does rubbish the signalling case that would make Hanas a symp signalling their master AF: Hanas voted AF first, after all.

Okay we have had innocent CFs on both Shadow and Korlat. So we'd be mad not to take in what they said whilst alive.

Interesting that Tapper has Kadagar and Ultama as the two defenders of Grasp (scum will know an innocent cf and therefore feel safe to do this) on one side and the attackers Denesmet Telas and myself on the other side.

I'm keeping this in mind as I read up.

Telas has been pinging a few peoples scumdars, so that may be a case. What do you think about OE though? It really bugs me his referencing of a villain. I don't want to get to SH and find he's laughed his way to the win.

It is Day 1. 2 minutes remaining

13 Players still alive: Aparal Forge, Denesmet, Fanderay, Grasp, Hanas, Kadagar Fant, Korlat, Lock, Merrid, Olar Ethil, Shadow, Telas, Ultama

7 votes to lynch, 7 votes to go to night.

7 Votes for Aparal Forge ( Kadagar Fant, [/u]Grasp, Ultama, Shadow, Denesmet, Lock, Telas )
4 Votes for Grasp ( Telas, Hanas, Merrid, Aparal Forge )

Players not voted: Aparal Forge Fanderay, Korlat, Lock, Olar Ethil

Aparal Forge has been lynched, he was Andorion and a Roleless Innocent, a Frite.

I think scum will most likely be hiding in the non-voters. Im going to review their posts.

Why? Why assume scum will be with the non voters?

Fanderay Lock and Olar are all still alive.

Scum prefer lynches as much as town as it gets them nearer their VC.

Personally I think scum would be more careful with their choice of references. Plus he cannot laugh at us if he is scum. As his whole game so far has been.

Day 1. Anti mod kill post

Day 2. Anti modkill post.

That's basically not something I could see scum doing because there's no challenge in that, there's no glory I'm that either.

So I've put Olar in the most probably town category.

@ Ultama, sorry, but the premise to your case makes little sense. Indeed, any case that starts with 'well, this person might have been a symp' starts off on weak ground. In a meat and potatoes game such as this, scum would not know who their symp is. If you're suggesting that Denesmet and/or Telas worked out that AF was their symp, as I think you are, then you also have to provide evidence for how they might have done that - e.g. what signalling did they find?

Secondly and even more importantly, killers just do not defend symps or try to distract from their lynch, no matter how certain they were of their symphood.

BUT neither of that precludes Denesmet and/or Telas being scum, just for different reasons than the one you outline. For my part, as you pointed out, I do suspect Telas, for the way they jumped on Grasp. Nor am I convinced by Denesmet's reading for why that doesn't necessarily make Telas scummy.

I could lay a vote on Telas.

Or incidentally Fanderay. The only time he piped up is when Telas voted for him.

Khells is a good player with keen insight. I really am having trouble locking onto Telas, but think that Khell's gut (as long as he wasn't symp) may be good enough reason to knock off Telas. I need to read more, of course, so expect me back around the same time as yesterday.

And as I said, Lock popping out after Merrid's case rings some alarm bells. I think that's something worth pursuing tomorrow, depending on the Korlat CF.

I echo Shadows sentiments here.

This is a point in favour of Fanderay though. He actually sticks out an opinion.
