Allright folks, I think I have a case.
Let's start here
Yep, and then remove immediately with no explanation upon my removal, as you did with Hanas and Fanderay. But you did not.
So, he's scummy for not voting/removing you or are you still in the testing phase of your pattern theory? You haven't removed your vote so is it an actual vote?
AF has done some weird shit, making himself possible symp to scum. This is first time someone is against AF lynch. AF being possible symp, scum wouldn't want them to get lynched d1.
This comes 5mins later. Clear distracting from AF lynch. Later Den calls AF case "silly" or "based on silly interaction" or something like that. Either way this case was not much better imho(surprise).
Another 15mins later this comes
Those three posts distracting from AF and in short period of time. Maybe after offthread discussion about certain symp possibilites?
Then we have Den puting pressure on Grasp. Later Den says pressure on AF was pointless. After first Grasp's "defending" posts, what were you getting Den? And then, what more were you expecting? What was the point that wasn't there with AF?
Next, after a one or two additional votes for Grasp, Den's pressure continues. And reveal comes.
After Telas was brought up by Shadow:
Reading back, I'm more inclined to go for Telas, who similarly jumped on but doesn't have the same carefree jump on jump off nature to their voting that Hanas does (by which I mean scum are less likely to be so flagrant with their desire to be on a lynch train).
Meh, I guess. I reread Telas and am not seeing what you are. Landed on Grasp after being somewhat helpful/constructive. Dunno, I see the AF vote as kind of stereotypical pile on without a thought situation. Would have expected a scummy Telas to happily drop
into the middle of that train not a foundling case like my own.
Den tells us this. But I clearly see what Shadow means and it is there.
Then, maybe after some reconsidering scum inferred AF is not the symp they're looking for and went on?
Not really anywhere but AF, but I can see why you think that. I just think lynching AF will be a waste since no one seems all that confident he'll turn up scum, but they want to test the silly interaction between him and Hanas. I also don't see why Hanas isn't a better candidate in this respect. Pressuring AF today seems to have turned up jack-shit (as opposed to my pressuring of Grasp I will note).
I will definitely help lynch AF if needed, but I am standing aside on principle currently, and I'll be around to help the lynch if needed in the next couple of hours.
I think the logic is that he voted AF before AF signed on. So if it was a symp signaling, then most likely AF is the master.
Then we get this sequence of posts.
Remove vote

Den looking like townie being scared of not getting lynch and Telas looking like hero to town who made it in time. Funny It's those two again, isn't it?

@ Ultama, you have too many quote blocks for me to straight up reply to your case.
If we have scum trying to defend a symp in this game, then we have the stupidest scum in mafia, UNLESS they were just fake symping, but that's too much wifom to digest. I'd need something more tangible to see a Denesmet case.
On the other hand, that whole case looks like scum desperately trying to look like they are participating.

Lock is in amongst the Hanas/Aparal shenanigans.
Yet he says this to Shadow. Anyone who was around early day one like Lock would've known what Shadow was on about or referring too yet Lock dismisses it as day one trash..
But then not only does he implicate Grasp for the next day lynch (which is what we'd be talking about today if he was alive)
But now he says he'd rather vote Hanas when earlier he thought nothing of their behaviour other than day one trash.
The above his is the sum of Locks play and I don't think that's good enough for town and looks scummy in its own right.

@ Ultama, sorry, but the premise to your case makes little sense. Indeed, any case that starts with 'well, this person might have been a symp' starts off on weak ground. In a meat and potatoes game such as this, scum would not know who their symp is. If you're suggesting that Denesmet and/or Telas worked out that AF was their symp, as I think you are, then you also have to provide evidence for how they might have done that - e.g. what signalling did they find?
Secondly and even more importantly, killers just do not defend symps or try to distract from their lynch, no matter how certain they were of their symphood.
BUT neither of that precludes Denesmet and/or Telas being scum, just for different reasons than the one you outline. For my part, as you pointed out, I do suspect Telas, for the way they jumped on Grasp. Nor am I convinced by Denesmet's reading for why that doesn't necessarily make Telas scummy.

He could just be a noob, but that case stinks of trying to post some content to blend in. I still think we will find scum in one of the contentless low posters or non voters. Lock looks pretty dodgy, Fanderay and OE are both claiming to be sick, and Korlat has been coasting.

Ok. Well that is fair.
I dislike it when someone says that they see something then assumes that everyone else will. If you see something point it out don't go Oh I think I see something. So I asked him to point it out. Less room for issues.
As for the vote for Aparal rather then hanas. Both were crap reasons. I wasn't going to vote for gasp after he claimed to have been a towns role. Which with the amount of time left in the day left just a vote for aparal for a lynch. Regular town behavior to me. Of course I don't have your great track record in predicting and seeing scum behavior. But since your looking at it I guess it is only fair that I take a look at you.

Well Merrid has some interesting insights for claiming to be town. Here is where Gasp comes out and says that he is town.
Now once Gasp reveals as a town's role. How much time goes by with out Merrid removing his vote? Trick question in the 4 hours after Gasp revealed to be a town role Merrid didn't remove his vote. But Merrid was the driving force in getting Gasp under enough pressure to reveal. I could be mistaken but not a top notch town play.
Now we are to the really interesting stuff. The CF for the night. We have steaks and ketchups roaming the dinner plate out for blood. That means that there are two groups of killers. If you belive Gasp then he would be town. Then we have two deaths one of which comes back as a packet of ketchup. So what does Merrid have to say about that? Lets look.
Looks like Hanas was killed by scum. Grasp was killed by roled town.
Scum would already know this as they know who they targeted. Chances are, two roled town with vigs that didn't know each other and when grasp revealed the other town thought he was lying and took him out.
Unless of course scum took out Grasp and the roled town ketchup took out Hanas. That is feasible too.
That is right Merrid claims regardless of any rational thought that someone who cfed as a packet of ketchup after claiming a town role was killed by other packets of ketchup. While Hanas who several people suspected of being a symp was killed by scum. Which was not my first conclusion upon reading the night cf. My first thought looking at that is perhaps Merrid thinks that Gasp was killed as part of Obama's false flag operation against the anti-abortion activists. My second thought is that Merrid is acting like someone who is trying to help town but really laying down all kinds of just random posting. As if he doesn't care what he posts but is just concerned with looking like he is posting something. Not very town like at all. When coupled with his solid pressure on Gasp I feel as though if Merrid is town then has been nothing but detrimental to town.
I don't know if Merrid is scum. But he has done enough harm to town's chances of winning that he does warrent an OMGUS plus solid vote from me.

That's not much of a defense to be fair. Although you do "sound" reasonable. You're not defensive per say. The whole post felt like a shrug.
Yet the end bit was juxtaposed to the rest. "You looked at me so I'm going to look at you", wow that's astute of you. The end bit looks quite Omgus.

Wow. So that is actually a big Omgus. Sitting there nice and quiet until you receive a vote from me hey. Well here is my post that states I'm leaving my vote where it is. At the time at least half of the alts had not voted.
Here is grasps reveal. I'm tucked away in bed at this time and you can see I don't post until the next day. I've left my suspicions down on thread and I've voted. What more can I do?
I don't see your point about the ketchup. WE KNOW FROM THE OP THAT SCUM IS STEAK. Red sauce is tied to fries. It only stands to reason that ketchup is town affiliated. Blend likes to add different roles to town and in this game it looks like vigs.
I think you know this but are playing dumb or your scum and you haven't thought of the possibility.

For me it's like the Monty Hall Problem. Sticking with the first choice, after another has presented itself, gives less probability that he'll turn out scum.

I don't have any thing to defend nor any reason to be defensive. Your vote is pretty baseless and looks to be more of a way to get me more involved in the game. Fair enough.
But if something of mine strikes your fancy then you can't blame me for looking at you when something of yours strikes my fancy. Of course it is OMGUS. Doesn't mean that it isn't valid now does it.
