I think the game has gone pretty well. With this many kills it wasn't going to be a long multiweek game. But a shorter intense one. If scum had a couple of earlier breaks then town would be on there back. The flip day 1 speed lynch comes to mind as the big difference between a town win and scum.

Well, here comes more "gnaw vagueness". If the Intrepid Reporter i.e. Gait breaks the story that Eloth is in the mafia's pay, then Grasp no longer has leverage to get retirement. However it could be read to mean that he's trying to set Eloth up as Salvadoran???

Assume he recruits one of the healers (although he sounds quite adamant about being done with underlings). Somehow he and the recruit convince them to lynch Gait or the other healer. go to night and the cops vig

Nevermind. All the cops have to do is arrest people and see if a kill occurs.

Scott are meant to start the game with more information than town. If Togg and I knew Karosis was our Captain then the lynch would not have been Karosis.

The game wasn't played on thread. One finder in a lover pair releasing the information whilst being healed. I went after him twice in case it was BP then death.

We should have been able to make peace AND kill. Then it would've been town vs scum vs SK over town vs scum vs scum vs SK

Fun game. A little overpowered on the roles imho, although I loved having all those powers. Scum got fucked (hehe). More townies would have been nice (and less cops)

Never! Let them play it out. New game wouldn't start on Monday anyway, not enough time for sign up.


The more I've thought about it (and the more time I had to cool off), the better the game seems. The new rules and roles are great creative spins on old and rarely-used mechanics. And yes, scum got off to a bad start (though if a faction does need some adjusting, it's that one). The main factor really was more explanation of the action-consequence theme and new aspects like jail, reporting, and retirement. it doesn't have to be spoilery in any way. In any case, for Cliche Storm The Second Coming we'll all have a much better idea of how it functions anyway
