Not happening. I am 100% sure. That scumbag makes it to the end of this season. He is going to dangle the Vale army as a lure to keep him alive. I do hope Sansa kills him eventually though.

No one thinks Littlefinger will live to the end? I definitely do.
In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if a conversation between he and Varys is one of the final scenes of the show.
He is a philosophical character - not in what he says, but what he stands for. He can't be cut away so easily.

Regardless, I'll be ticked if Baelish is killed this season or without good cause in the next.

As for the fire spreading fast, everything is dry as hay. I'm cool with the spread of flames even if they are just chalked up to dramatic license and running out of time in the episode.

I think LF is going to die when his room for manuevre is cut. Either Vale ceases to become a factor, Sweetrobin dies, and those who hate him, like Sansa corner him, or when he bumps up against somebody who does not want anything he can offer.

I have considered it, naturally; he is rather reminiscent of the proverbial cockroach. I just don't want him to survive. And his blunder with Sansa might just be enough to do him in.

I can see it now: Tormund is going to achieve glory in the coming battle and Rickon will make him Lord of the Dreadfort, or maybe Karhold. That will make him a suitable match for Lady Brienne of House Tarth.

And their children will be giants - 7 foot tall greatsword wielding knights.

Though the most hilarious part of that dinner scene was Edd's reaction at the sexual tension. Also Sansa looks stunning when she is laughing. Dany on the other hand with that arrogant pursed mouth smile of hers is irritating.

I hope we see Arya finally leaving the FM next episode. She has to do something this season. I hope by season end all of the players are back in Westeros and concentrating in a few areas.

Is anybody else finding the High Sparrows monologues irritating?

I hope not. He's Cersei's most formidable adversary at this point. She needs formidable adversaries.

Next week's episode is entitled "The Door". The summary from HBO:

Quote

Tyrion seeks a strange ally. Bran learns a great deal. Brienne goes on a mission. Arya is given a chance to prove herself.

I'm hoping The Door is the door at the top of the Tower of Joy. That line about Bran makes me hopeful, even though we saw one of his visions in the preview and it's just the Night's King.

I guess Tyrion's strange ally is the red priestess seen in the preview giving Varys the creeps. Brienne's mission apparently has something to do with the Riverlands, but we know that Jaime is still going to be in King's Landing for episode 6.

Before I read back...

What a fucking episode that was! Now that felt longer than last week, and seemed to have a lot more in it.

Brienne getting stared at lovingly by the wildling Tormund and getting embarrassed was brilliant.

Sansa and Jon, oh how they've come so far.

Was anyone else hoping that a dragon popped his head inside the tent and burned all the Dothraki leaders? The scene the way it was done was fantastic, don't get me wrong, but as I sat there and watched I was hoping for a dragon head to smash the door down.

We have Jon and the wildlings, Littlefinger and that army, hammer and anvil on Winterfell we think?

Anyone else think its mad that between Jon, Ramsey, Littlefinger they have around 15000 men max and then you flip over to Dany and she has 100's of 1000's?

Just imagine her army come over and face the WhiteWalker army, that could spell oblivion because her army would not be able to kill them, add her army to the White Walkers and you have one scary river of dead.

Now we know the plan to kill the High sparrow we know that it won't happen that way so what do people think will happen?

Was the only person left out of this show Arya?

Probably loads more to talk about but I did enjoy the episode.

Two dead Dothraki. But as not named characters are not included... My theory is disproved.

But hey, there are still so many victims left. Maybe they kill in the next week more. Like Pycelle, Kevan, Rickon, Lancel

Probably not. I'm sure many of them will, but I can't see all of them dying. Of course, some of them are already dead. The only living ones pictured are Jon (who did die), Sansa, Tyrion, Arya, Cersei, Jaime, Melisandre, and Daario. Basically, the main characters and Daario. Not sure how he got included with that bunch. The dead ones are Ned, Catelyn (not pictured here, but elsewhere), Robb, and Oberyn. Of that bunch, living and dead, Daario is the odd one. Seems like he's not important enough to be included.

Tormund and Brienne = best part of the episode

I more hoped for Jon with wildlings and loyal Northern Houses (Manderlys, as they were the only ones mentioned aside from Karstarks and Umbers, but I still hope for Mormonts and at least some one else) against Ramsay Boltons + Karstarks + Umbers. A Vale Army could make the battle a bit onesided.

For the High Sparrow case: Maybe Margaery sides with the Faith to rescue Loras. And Tommen gets convinced by her to join forces with the faith instead of his familiy. Or Kevan gets murdered by Lancel and Jaime and the Tyrells are blamed for it.

Margaery siding with the Faith seems very improbable at this point. She was already against them before she saw what they had done to Loras, and that, I don't think she will be able to forgive. Besides, word is Jaime will personally spring her in episode 6.

Saw some people on the Westeros Facebook page claiming that the death of Osha disproves the Undercover Umbers theory. I don't see how, though.

Strongest episode of this series yet. Liked just about everything - Jon and Sansa is a lovely dynamic and it really smacked me in the face how beautiful Sophie Turner has become when she was laughing.

I'm enjoying Meereen - Grey Worm and Missandei's dynamic with Tyrion works wonderfully.

Can't quote as I'm on my phone and it hates the forum, but Abyss' point with Dany is spot on. This is where she needed to reach and the show got her there without the endless padding. Good move!

I can actually feel myself getting stupider when I read the Westeros show forums. There was an argument that Davis asking about Shireen now makes no sense as it has been weeks, even though its pretty clear that only 3-4 days have passed since Jon's stabbing.

Still angry about what they did to Dorne.

Good episode this one, though. Somewhat. Still furious about Dorne. And Connington. And don't they dare downplay Crow's Eye.
