Saw some people on the Westeros Facebook page claiming that the death of Osha disproves the Undercover Umbers theory. I don't see how, though.
Weird. I would argue that it SUPPORTS it, no?

I can actually feel myself getting stupider when I read the Westeros show forums. There was an argument that Davis asking about Shireen now makes no sense as it has been weeks, even though its pretty clear that only 3-4 days have passed since Jon's stabbing.

It was one of the top-liked comments on their Osha post. I thought about responding, but I've made that mistake before.

Can't quote as I'm on my phone and it hates the forum, but Abyss' point with Dany is spot on. This is where she needed to reach and the show got her there without the endless padding. Good move!

So I was assuming that Dany was a cg enhanced body shot at the end like Cersei? Her neck looked a little weird so we were guessing it was the same tech.

We also assumed that the 'help' given by Jorah and Dario was the addition of something highly flammable to the mix beforehand. You know, cos stone steps don't usually combust like that..
So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

As Worry said, the bowls were filled with oil, you can see the splash as it hits the floor. The walls and that were made of wood.

Emilia Clarke said yes to that scene. Her contract merely gives her the right to say no.

It looked weird but I think it was just because of the fire. Her boobs were the same shape as before.

That is some impressive mental boob shape retention capacity.

FWIW, I also noticed that her boobs were the same. I assumed at first that they just got a convincing body double, but then I looked it up.

Strongest episode of this series yet. Liked just about everything - Jon and Sansa is a lovely dynamic and it really smacked me in the face how beautiful Sophie Turner has become when she was laughing.

That scene struck me as more Kit and Sophie than Jon and Sansa, if that makes any sense. It all seemed very modern. That's not really a complaint; it just seems like they purposefully tapped into their off-screen dynamic to make that scene work. Also, Sophie has been that beautiful for a while, but they did her makeup and hair very different in that scene than they usually do; usually she has a more medieval, pale-faced look, and her hair is not usually so bright. That contributed to the modern feel to me; she looked more like she does off-camera than usual.

I swear Dany was pointing and the fire was following her finger after she'd pushing over the fire, like she was controlling the fire with magic.

It has been weeks. Theon has had time to travel from north of Winterfell to Seagard (700 miles) and get on a boat to travel another 300 miles to Pyke. Sansa and Brienne and Pod have had time to ride from Winterfell to Castle Black (which is about 450-500 miles). Jorah and Daario have had time to travel from Meereen to Vaes Dothrak (the better part of 1,000 miles).

It doesn't seem like weeks have passed, no, I agree with that, but unless time moves differently at Castle Black to the rest of the planet, quite a large amount of time has passed.

The show is guilty of awkward time-skipping in several spots, but some of these things can be explained by chronology jumps. For example, Melisandre had to travel from Winterfell to the Wall after the battle, so one could argue that Sansa's escape happened chronologically a long time ago but they only chose to show it to us in the last couple of episodes. So it makes sense that Sansa and Brienne show up a couple of days after Melisandre, at the Wall where the passage of time is more clearly delineated. And the rider with the bastard letter shows up not long after Sansa.

Bad example. Melisandre left before the battle, once she heard about all the soldiers defecting and realized her vision was wrong. Could have been days before the battle.

And Sansa escaped while Ramsey was away fighting the battle.

As to the original question, I thought Davos asked last season and just never got an answer until now.

Teleportation is an actual power that people have in this show. That or the characters step off the beaten path into a Warren, where time works differently.

IIRC, Melisandre left the morning of the battle, just after she realized that most of Stannis's troops had abandoned him (because of Shireen).

Watching the season six trailer again.

Scene with Brienne with Tully shields in the shot - Riverrun? On a mission from Sansa, maybe for more allies I guess.

Looks like the Ironborn are all headed east - and Dany needs a fleet, think we can see where that's going.

How likely is it that the Sparrows are going to produce Sandor to fight the Mountain? I know it's only a rumour but I'd like that reveal.
So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

Apparently the jailbreak is slotted for episode 6, which is supposed to be right before Cersei's trial. I dunno if Cersei is so much trying to prevent her trial (which she is not too worried about, since she has Frankenmountain) as trying to set the Tyrells up to fail against the Sparrows, possibly resulting in the deaths of Loras and Margaery, which is what her empowerment of the Faith was all about in the first place.

The Hound rumor seems more solid than most. Rory McCann was seen on set, just like Kit Harington. McCann does not appear to be working on anything else; he had another TV role but his character apparently died. Ian McShane was definitely not involved in the return of Jon Snow, not that any book reader ever believed that was much of a possibility.

I have no idea when we should expect that to happen, though. Before or after the jailbreak? We might see him before the jailbreak, but he won't be revealed in King's Landing until after Jaime has left for the Riverlands. More than anything, I'm interested to see what causes Jaime to leave Cersei. I wonder if it will have something to do with his role in saving Margaery. Maybe he won't realize that Cersei's plan is for Margaery to die? Or maybe he will realize it, and save Margaery anyway for Tommen's sake?

A reveal of Sandor, if he is coming back, would only work if both the viewers and the Kings Landing crowd are convinced of the mountains near invincibility; it could be a great moment for those who aren't expecting it.

What do you know about Jaime in the Riverlands? I've only seen Brienne there in the trailers. I wonder if she'll pay a visit to the Freys on Sansas behalf while she's there..

The first two segments at this link:

http://winteriscomin...ege-of-riverrun

The URL changes as you scroll; that page is a pretty good roundup of spoiler leaks.

PS: I just noticed an interesting bit from that site. Apparently the director for eps 5 and 6 (Jack Bender) was on scene at the Tower of Joy. So the summary for tomorrow's episode, "Bran sees a great deal", might possibly include this, especially if he gets chased away from the tree by the White Walkers.

I suspect that Bran and Sam will have a lot of screen time tomorrow.

PPS: There are also hints in the WIC stuff that Jorah might die. At least, he won't be riding with Dany when she leads the Dothraki away from Vaes Doethrak, and Daario will be. Since Daario knows about the greyscale now, I'm guessing Jorah's days are numbered, and I wouldn't be surprised to see him go before the season is done.

Can't wait to see Randyll Tarly. One of my most anticipated characters on the whole show.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.
