Venge winning by 42 points is a big concern. What happened there?

Bishop Sankey tearing the Bucs a new one, and Bradford getting 15 on Monday night, is my guess.

As for my match-ups: the one thing that is consistent with Yahoo's predictions is that they're quite often off by a lot, especially in early season.
KL had Peterson to play on Monday against a depleted 49er defense, that made her the favorite imho. Turns out SF contained the Viking offense pretty well, though.

I've used my waiver transfer. Its a risk but I wanted RB depth and from what I saw over the weekend I think David Johnson will be good for the next few weeks at least. Andre Ellington seems to be out for up to 4 weeks, making Johnson the number 2 for the Cardinals.

There was Cunningham and Williams to consider but I have Blount that could take over as my number 2 but I want yo see how he plays.

I could have picked Mariota seem as he had a phenomenal week but I'm going to trust in Tannehill.

I have good depth in my WR so Moncrief would only make my bench.

I have faith in Eifert after his awesome start so SeferIan Jenkins is still available.

I've made my claim so feel free to criticize my choice.

Yeah, don't trust Yahoo predictions, at least not until there are 3 or 4 games played so things are starting fall into place. People they predict to be breakout players may not be, and they might be conservative on people that really take off. I'm hoping Carlos Hyde continues to be the latter, obviously. When I drafted him I was thinking "49rs RB is generally a good choice" and I hope I"m not proven wrong.

Remember Tatts, week one doesn't determine anything at all. Sometimes an excellent player is bottled up in week 1 and then has a great season. At this point of the year, teams aren't firing on all cylinders and we can expect a lot of change/development. In my opinion, between week 1-4 on the waiver wire are the hardest of the year. You can hit a homerun picking up a previous unknown, but you can also end up dropping someone who lights the place on fire a week or two later. For example, I have Devin Funchess in another league, and he scored zero points week 1. I'm reluctant to drop him because I feel he could be one of those "catch fire" players later.

Good luck everyone.

Well, I was expected to go 1-13 according to Yahoo... And I am still on track for that.

as for you, Shin... the only people being below average on your team, are the Packers :(

And Charles Johnson. I like him a lot, if he turns out to be a bust I'll be upset.

Of course, I've done this sort of thing before - back in the mid-2000's I was high on Donte' Stallworth and drafted him 3 years in a row figuring he'd finally break out, and it never happened. :harhar:

I pay no attention to Yahoo predictions. Although I do wish I had started James Jones. Also Kelce helped along with Jamaal Charles...

Yeah that was a little surprising. As was Bradford just dinking around for the first half. I guess he needed to warm up.

Didn't see the game, but how much of that is down to the Kubiak scheme and how much is down to Manning having a spaghetti arm?

Travis Benjamin, WR for the Browns, scored 15.3 points last week.

Yahoo's advice on Benjamin, after scoring 15.3 points, was:

"Despite the fluke early-season scoring binge, Benjamin will not be a fantasy option in Week 3 against the Raiders."

Oh, and he scored 35.66 points this week, which just happens to be the highest WR total for Week 2.

I forget who posted it up above, but like they said, Yahoo predictions can for the most part be ignored.

Dez down, now Romo too. Still able to win, though.

Guess it's time to toss Matt Ryan in the lineup, Shin.

Off to an 0 for 2 start. The only consolation is that HD should be down here in the slums with me.

Yeah, there are worse backups out there so I'm not too unhappy.

Tapper - did you see how my game went down? Tied at 68 and it was basically my 3 Packers against his 2 Seahawks. :( That worked out well.

I'm happy with picking up Johnson on the waiver. 20 points this week.

Venge picked up the Broncos yet didn't play them. May have cost him the match up.

King Lear put up a huge score.

Brujah Luck is capable of a 40 point game. It's not over yet.

The announcers couldn't figure it out either. Wilson and Graham don't seem to have anything going yet - it'll be interesting to see what develops as the season goes on. In the meantime:

I guess the Big Playcaller From Above didn't yet interrupt Pete Carroll to tell Wilson the meaning behind the Graham acquisition.

I like that meme, too :(

Tapps, still interested in Brady or has Mr. Palmer made you complacent, with his getting hurt every season, not to mention his inconsistency. Just saying.

I might just keep Brady and trade off Luck. Figure maybe HD wouldn't mind having his boy, but then again he's already got D. Brees, although Brees isn't the QB we've grown to depend on these last few years; slight shoulder injury, suspect O line, and no Graham for a safety blanket.

But looking over your lineup, not that I'd think you'd consider a trade, but I need a RB and I don't think you have anyone you'd be willing to lose that I'd be willing to take. So, oh well.

Maybe I'll just keep em and go with whichever QB I feel has the best chance depending on who their opponents are. Not that it worked for me this week. I figured the Bills, who do have a very decent defense, could hold Brady to average human numbers, and he puts up 33.

The thing is, Brady's 33 would have left me with another close loss at around 3 points. Starting Brady, and choose anyone else for Defense besides the Ravens who net me a negative 1 loss against the fucking Raiders.......

Coulda, woulda, shoulda. I can make excuses all day that don't amount to shit. I just hate starting in an 0 and 2 hole.

But like I said, the percentages are set to give me some good company down here and winless land. HD should join me, barring a miracle, as well as Shan and Obdi. The 4 or us can console one another.
