Week 5 no QB

Week 6 I face the Venge

Week 7, 8 and 9 are all ugly weeks for missing players.

Is there a way to put up a player that plays earlier than Sunday on waivers as soon as the game they play in starts until the end of the waiver period? Brujah has twice grabbed someone that I was trying to add and the first one he was able to grab as a FA after the guy played on Thursday night when if he played on Sunday would have been on waivers after the game or even before the game. I'm not the most active when I look for players to add or drop and the whole point of waivers is to give everyone equal shot at hot waiver commodities. Just a thought.

Who did I pick up from last night's game?

I was mainly talking about Deion Lewis. He played on a Thursday night and you picked him up as a FA the next day when he should have been on waivers. You just had a higher waiver priority than I did on the on the Matt Jones pickup.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

Well, I'm not sure about Thursday night games supposing to put all Thursday night players on waivers, but for the 4 years I've played FF, all of it here in the malazan leagues, we've always been able to pick up anyone who played Thursday night because it's not like you can say, grab the TE of a Thursday night team, and be able to put him in your lineup on Sunday. I've looked around and this seems to be the norm for most leagues.

On the other hand, Matt Jones only netted me less than a point. Way to spend a number one waiver pick.

As far as Dion Lewis, it wouldn't surprise me if Blount ended up starting and eating up all the yardage this week.

Tapper offered me Foster who's hurt atm, but should heal soon, for Luck, and if Brady wasn't on Bye week 4 I'd take it right now. But if the offer still stands after week 4........

Well I never noticed the Thursday night thing until this year when I was specifically was looking at possible running backs to pick up. When I saw that you were able to pick him up sans a waiver that really surprised me. Any other player on a Sunday is put on waivers so you can't pick someone up after a game. Seems a pretty big flaw in the waiver system that players on a Thursday aren't treated the same. I'm not bitching it's just something that I think should be addressed and fixed going forward if possible. If we can't then I'll just have to live with it for what it is.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

I didn't offer you Foster.

I said I had little in the way of value to trade with unless you count Foster - at a time when Foster was expected to be out longer than he is expected now.

Further, I also have Eli finding the way to ODB with Cruz expected back next week and Palmer being on fire. For the now, QB is not a need for me.

Ok gotcha. Sorry about that, Tapper. I definitely read that wrong. It's fine though. I'm actually on board with you pulling for Eli, because that means more potential progress for Beckham.

And yeah, I expect everyone pretty much has a good enough QB so I guess I'll just try to play the hot hand unless someone loses their QB starter and is willing to make a trade for Luck or I'll just play it out with both until the end.

I know Luck hasn't played well his first two games but I still believe he ends up a top 3 QB with Rodgers and Brady.

Also, everyone please feel free to make me offers for Luck even if you think it's something I would immediate reject. Don't hesitate. Offer via PM first if you wish. I'd possible even consider a good WR.

Oh dear haha.

I'm not liking the outlook of my match up so far.

I'm impressed with Tappers 94 points though and the games are only half time.

So am I. Glad to see Olsen is firing on all cylinders, just hate he's doing it against the Saints. Also, Darren McFadden had a TD (not to mention, 3 for Joseph Randle...).

Yeah, I posted about our match in the other thread, thinking it was this one.

Very nice lineup today,Tapps. And here in Charlotte, we'll I'm in Charleston today actually, but we all knew that Olsen was going to go the 'f' off. I just didn't know that nearly everyone else in your lineup, even your kicker, was going to hit 10+ , 20+, 30+, etc....

I feel like Obdi the year he can't face then everyone when they were having their best week ever. so far each week each of my opponents have went above their projections and the last two weeks above their projections by quite a bit.

But oh well. I'm still hoping for that lucky streak where I finish off winning my last 10 or so.

yeah, I pretty much knew this was going to be the case. I knew the Patriots we're going to blow the Jags out so bad that they would revert to just running the ball, just running and running and running. And the back that they would use to finish off the game would be Blount because hes heavier.

In fact, if you would have clicked on Blounts little box it even explains this scenario.

Lewis definitely could have used those points.

I almost even pulled Lewis thinking that they would just depend on Blount, but at least Lewis got some point before losing snaps to Blount.

I'm in the same boat today with devonta Freeman. Between him and Julio Jones, my team could have had all of ATL's TDs today.

Well, there was 4 of us winless, but now HD and Shan will jump out with a win leaving Obdi and I to wallow in our winless misery.

And Tapper as the only undefeated team.

Well, I would prefer to be sure first. And that requires the SF 49ers to actually make Palmer throw the ball, instead of keeping the Cards D on the field.

Hurts that I'm going to have a pretty good game, but still lose to an explosive orgasm of points.
