More images, Aviendha looking ready to stomp ass!

EDIT: The Seanchan look dope (the design on their costumes is awesome), and walking around with Ishamael....and I expect that's one of their Ogier Gardeners, and not Loial himself....but who knows?

SEPTEMBER 1st baby! FINALLY! Season 2!

A deeply blue book-accurate outfit for Moiraine? NOICE!

Oh and Donal Logue is going to be one of those people who many viewers simply don't realize isn't Barney Harris...he looks a lot like him, and still looks like a perfect Mat.

Came to share this! :D

I can't wait. First series had its faults, but I can't wait to see what they do without the Covid restrictions and break in production making life hard for them.

Agreed. This will easily be the show I'm most looking forward to after TED LASSO finishes its season, and we get STRANGE NEW WORLDS out of the way in June.

I've gone back to the audiobooks this week - I gave my copies of the books to a friend years ago and have been wanting a refresher as I don't remember them well. Kate Reading is great but Michael Kramer in particular has the sort of speaking voice I could listen to reading me the phone book. One of those rare things I seem to be able to listen to while working without breaking my concentration on either.

It's funny, their initial books in the series I found they hadn't QUITE gotten their eventual respective cadences for the tone....but I recall the 5th book (which I listened to on audio a while back) was REALLY good. And I'm SUPER picky about audiobooks as I can't tolerate most of them.

I'm just at the start of Book 4 (did 1-3 last time I had a stretch listening to them). I'll look forward to the next one! :D

I may do some of them in audio for my continued re-read too, I keep getting sale notes from the audiobookstore.

Hard to say with the helmet but they seemed to have ignored the hair style and gone extra on the fingernails. At least I never pictured them that long. Although the Seanchan on the left's hair is asymmetric so maybe something their.

What colour is Aviendha's hair?

I hope they rescue this show. The loss of Matt and Covid obviously hurt them but I also think they havent be true to the source material or told a very good story so far.

Well that explains the haircut, the chains and the booty shorts ...

Wellllll I mean I already mostly have the drawl anyway being stuck between Texas and deep Cajun Land LA.

Annnnndddd I actually do have a fairly strange hairstyle atm. I let my daughter have fun last week with the buzzer after about a year of growing it out. I have a stripe of long hair in back right now.

holy shit! Cannot. Wait. The clear budget boost on the costuming and hair alone is such a step up. Look at Liandrin in S1 VS here, it's night and day. The weaves having actual colour this time? Very cool. Looking more like WEAVES...cooler...the action sequences...hell, even the sets look a little more lived in.
Also this exchange:

Rand: "I'm tired of being a spoke in the wheel!"
Siuan: "You're not a spoke boy. You are the water that turns the wheel itself"

Fucking CHILLS.

I'm so excited! All the visual effects look to have taken a step up, and there's some very exciting things dropped in that trailer for book readers too!

Not to be Debbie downer, but I’ll get excited when it’s good. Season 1 was very mediocre.
I've always been crazy but its kept me from going insane.
