Thanks Gnaw!

I'm just going to have to come to terms with the fact that self-vote suiciding will forever be referred to as "pulling a JPK" now, aren't I? ~ JPK

Is it a battle for the hex ie enemy plus ancients?
Or first battle before ancients?
Or first battle before ancients?
Apt is the only one who reads this. Apt is nice.

I built and moved that fucking interceptor so that Twelve couldn't pop one over into my homeworld. Nukes not needed, remember.
Wasn't going to do that anyway. I actually would have preferred a third interceptor against the ancients as it is. I wasn't going to just throw one away if I didn't have to. Plus I didn't even think about attacking your homeworld.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

I'm sure you didn't.

Can someone explain how the minions work? I see the tiles on the board, but I didn't really get what they meant.
I see that some of them hold cubes, one of them takes an influence disc, etc. But how do you purchase them, and when, etc?

Reiterating this question....
I would suggest that this be house rule changed to a research action.
one point to each ship in the battle.
Okay that is how you get them but where does it say what They are? I'm trying to find out what benefit the minions give you. I need to add that info to my cheat sheet for easy(ier) reference when I learn what they are.
I don't know what I'm doing but it sounds good.

Man there are a lot of battles happening in round 2. Is this shaping up to be a very bloody game early.

MOVE both Interceptors into the ancient hex north of my homeworld. Return diplo cube to materials.
2 interceptors with 4 hp against one ancient with 2 hp but has computers. I sense a looooong fight.
It would be if I had ever planned to bother with the ancient.
MOVE one interceptor from ancient hex to D'rek's homeworld.

If you look at the actual minions, you can pretty much tell what they do, I think. Going left to right, I think they do the following:
1 - Space for one population cube + 2 VPs
2 - Space for two population cubes
3 - -1 on a research (is it all researches?) + 1 VP
4 - +5 VP but costs an influence disc

I don't have any choice as retreat isn't an option for any of my attacks. Shoot until either I or them are dead in every situation.
