I still think the orange colour looked silly and they should have gone with dark red, but otherwise yes, he was a great character and villain, pretty close to season 3's Ras Al Ghul for sheer menace and fun.

...and now Manu is wasted playing a druid on the Shannara silliness.

Dark red has a tendency to look bad onscreen, especially with all the black he's wearing.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

Dark red would have had him accused of being a Deadpool ripoff, even though it's the other way around.

I had fun

One thing annoyed me though and it seems to be quite common in these movies. The plot is circular. Waller created the suicide squad and their first mission is to clean up her own mess, created. When she created the squad. How is she not in jail by the end of the film?

She controls Flag by having him gall in love with June? This master manipulator never realized that was the very weakness that could allow her to escape?

The squads original goal was to rescue Waller. Not fight the enchantress? What was the plan here? Just leave her alone forever? Good thing she captured Waller or the while world might have died.

I enjoyed it but I admit I am easily pleased when it comes to movies. Someone upthread called it magic dancing when enchantress was using her power and that totally nailed it. It looked extremely awkward and I thought most of Delvignes acting sucked. I also thought it needed to be longer. It just felt like it needed more and even though I liked it it did feel like it had parts taken out that should have been left in. Overall though I really liked it and I loved Joker and Harley Quinn.

I saw it last night. I liked it. I thought it was entertaining and good fun.

However, I will agree with the criticism that it has a problem with coherency. I felt that it was many places at once, trying to maybe give a sense of urgency yet failing completely. Also, alot of the plot didn't really make much sense. Oh, and Waller, she was good, we talked after the movie that she did seem a bit Nick Fury-esque at some points, but at other points she just didn't seem like the Amanda Waller we know from the cartoons and comic books.

But, I liked it for what it was.
Screw you all, and have a nice day!

Ha!

DC did it.

James Gunn is going to write and direct the next SS movie it sounds like!

Man, that's a GET. With this, and Patty Jenkins success with WW, and James Wan seemingly good looking AQUAMAN movie....could DC FINALLY be getting the goods?

Anyways, Gunn is the perfect fit to reformat the SS movies.

You mean make them movies instead of music video/trailers?
Tatts early in SH game: Hmm, so if I'm liberal I should have voted Nein to make sure I'm president? I'm not that selfish

Tatts later in SAME game: I'm going to be a corrupt official. I have turned from my liberal ways, and now will vote against the pesky liberals. Viva la Fascism.
When Venge's turn comes, he will get a yes from Mess, Dolmen, Nevyn and Venge but a no from the 3 fascists and me. **** with my Government, and i'll **** with yours

He should permanently kill off The Joker.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

Dave Bautista as Bane. Make it so.

I don't know, SS needs a separate identity from GOTG. If they're too similar, that will be a problem.

SS2 could come off as a cheaper copy of GOTG, like Justice League seemed too closely modelled on the Avengers sometimes.

(I liked MOS and BVS, btw)

WB has had a run of bad luck, but their tendency to over correct might not be the best idea.
